Selon ses partisans, le Sahaj Marg est un raffinement du Raja yoga. La transmission de l'énergie divine par le maître vers le coeur de l'adepte serait sa spécificité, unique au Monde.

La pratique du Sahaj Marg, très simple, serait adaptée à la vie familiale et professionnelle actuelle. Mais on oublie seulement de dire qu'elle s'est peu à peu recentrée presque exclusivement autour de l'adoration du maître...

La forme de yoga la plus connue en Occident est le Hatha Yoga, qui se résume le plus souvent à la pratique des postures yogiques. Mais le yoga est beaucoup plus que cela, c'est une discipline ancestrale d'origine hindoue (près de 5000 ans), dont le but est de réaliser l'unification de l'être humain dans ses composantes physique, psychique et spirituelle.

1. Du Raja Yoga au Sahaj Marg

Le Raja Yoga (yoga royal ou union royale) est le yoga exposé dans les "Yoga Sutra" de Patanjali, auteur supposé de ce traité du yoga entre -250 et + 500 ans de notre ère.

On l'appelle aussi Ashtanga Yoga (yoga à 8 branches), ce qui reflète les 8 étapes de cette voie :

Yama - Code de conduite, retenue de soi
Niyama - Niveau religieux : engagement à la pratique, étude et dévotion
Āsana - Intégration de l'esprit et du corps par l'activité physique
Pranayama - Régulation de la respiration qui mène à l'intération de l'esprit et du corps
Pratyahara - Abstraction des sens, retrait des objets de leur perception
Dharana - Concentration, esprit sur un point
Dhyāna - Méditation : l'acitvité silencieuse mène au samadhi
Samadhi - L'état silencieux de conscience

Shri Ram Chandra de Shahjahanpur (1899-1983), surnommé Babuji, est le fondateur du Sahaj Marg en 1945, un enseignement spirituel qu'il déclare équivalent au Raja Yoga. Sa particularité est de s'affranchir des 6 premières étapes pour débuter par la méditation (dhyana), aux dires de Babuji et K.C. Varadachari.

Bien que Babuji revendique Lalaji comme précurseur, il gomme l'origine soufiste de sa pensée spirituelle pour l'habiller de yoga et la rapprocher beaucoup plus des éminents hindouistes Ramakrishna (1836-86) et Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902), qui ont vivement contribué à faire connaître l'Hindouisme en Occident au début du XXème siècle, en même temps qu'on (re)découvrait le yoga (en savoir plus...).

"Le sahaj marg est en relation étroite avec le raja-yoga. Seules quelques modifications ont été apportées au système connu jusqu'à présent sous le nom de raja-yoga afin d'en éliminer tout élément superflu." (sur le website français de la SRCM)

En clair, le Sahaj Marg serait un raffinement du Raja Yoga.

2. La transmission (pranahuti)

Débuter directement par la méditation, septième étape du raja yoga, n'est rendu possible que grâce à la transmission, ou pranahuti, spécificité exclusive du Sahaj Marg, disent ses partisans.

Le caractère le plus unique du Sahaj Marg, ce serait que le Maître aide l'aspirant spirituel à progresser en déversant dans son coeur l'énergie divine qui va permettre sa transformation. C'est LA spécificité annoncée du Sahaj Marg.

A bien y regarder, cette exclusivité du Sahaj Marg est un leurre. Les sufis utilisaient déjà cette technique il y a bien longtemps. Et face au feu des critiques, les tenants du Sahaj Marg le reconnaissent eux-mêmes. Ils arguent ensuite que la qualité de la transmission est bien meilleure chez eux qu'ailleurs. A cet exercice, on peut dire ce que l'on veut, puisque chaque expérience est personnelle et unique, donc incomparable à toute autre. En clair, les sufis peuvent en dire autant, personne ne pourra jamais trancher.

On notera aussi que l'unification de l'être humain, but du yoga, s'est muée dans le Sahaj Marg en unité avec le divin. D'où la revendication des grands maîtres d'avoir atteint la "région centrale". Personne ne définit clairement cette région ni ne la décrit. Tant et si bien que, là encore, ils sont nombreux les gurus qui revendiquent être allés dans la région centrale, depuis le Sahaj Marg et ses différents avatars à Radhasoami, en passant par tant d'autres...

Des pratiques qui évoluent

Pour profiter pleinement de cette énergie divine, l'aspirant spirituel doit fournir un effort personnel, codifié par un ensemble de pratiques spirituelles, la sadhana. Celle-ci comporte plusieurs abhyas, destinés à créer les meilleures conditions intérieures à l'aide du maître.

1. Les dix commandements

Babuji a résumé l'ensemble de la pratique spirituelle qu'il recommandait aux abhyasis (ceux qui pratiquent les abhyas) dans ses 10 commandements. Au delà des attitudes "humanistes", ils comportent une prière, si possible avant le lever du soleil, ainsi qu'une repentance pour les péchés commis au coucher du soleil. Sans oublier d'avoir un coeur empli d'amour et de dévotion, et que le but est d'atteindre l'unité avec Dieu. c'est donc une pratique simple, qui permet à la SRCM d'affirmer que le Sahaj Marg est adapté à la vie familiale et professionnelle d'aujourd'hui.

Mais les choses ont beaucoup évolué depuis 1945. Les 10 commandements se sont transformés en maximes, sauf à l'ISRC. Et la pratique s'est complexifiée. A l'heure actuelle, c'est une pratique de méditation centrée sur le cœur, dont le cadre principal repose sur une pratique quotidienne (abhyas), des sittings hebdomadaires et quelques obligations permanentes.

Méditation, cleaning et prière sont les trois abhyas quotidiens qu'il faut absolument pratiquer de manière assidue si l'on veut faire des progrès rapides, donc tendre vers le but ultime mais surtout faire plaisir au Maître.

La méditation : elle doit être réalisée pendant une heure, avant le lever du soleil et après s'être lavé. C'est un moment de passivité totale où il faut s'abandonner au divin. C'est-à-dire intérioriser l'adoration au Maître par une totale dévotion.
Le cleaning : C'est une méthode active de nettoyage des impuretés accumulées durant la journée. Elle a donc lieu le soir avant diner pendant une demi-heure. Les impuretés, ou samskaras, doivent s'échapper de l'arrière comme de la fumée...
La prière : Ce sont quelques mots pour formuler sa complète dépendance au Maître divin. Elle doit être répétée deux à trois fois, avant le coucher, pendant une dizaine de minutes, avec dévotion et dans une attitude suppliante.

Aux abhyas quotidiens individuels s'ajoutent des séances collectives. Ces sittings ou satsangh sont des séances de méditation collective. Elles ont lieu deux fois par semaine, le mercredi soir et le dimanche matin en général, dans les différents centres de la SRCM. Il est vivement suggéré aux abhyasis d'en suivre au minimum une par semaine. Un sitting de méditation individuelle avec un précepteur est aussi recommandé au moins deux fois par mois.

Outre ses abhyas quotidiens et les sittings de groupe, il est conseillé pour progresser rapidement de lire et relire les dix maximes du Sahaj Marg, de tenir un journal quotidien, ainsi que de pratiquer la renonciation, le non attachement et de développer le souvenir constant du Maître (constant remembrance). Enfin, il est naturellement suggéré de rencontrer le Maître le plus souvent possible.

Mais avant toutes choses, pour démarrer, le nouvel abhyasi doit suivre un minimum de trois sittings d'introduction avec un précepteur, pour effectuer son nettoyage ou cleaning initial, sur une période de deux à trois jours consécutifs, à raison d'une demi-heure à chaque fois. Ce n'est qu'ensuite qu'il pourra commencer ses abhyas quotidiens...

2. Dérives vers le culte de la personnalité

Le souvenir constant du but à atteindre, l'unité avec Dieu, s'est totalement transformé avec le temps en souvenir constant du Maître.

Cette évolution a débuté bien avant Chari, puisque Babuji écrivait déjà dans Rôle de l'abhyasi dans le Sahaj Marg : "Le moyen le plus facile et le plus sûr d'atteindre le but est de s'abandonner au Grand Maître et de devenir soi-même un mort-vivant (...). L'abandon de soi n'est rien d'autre qu'un état de complète résignation à la volonté du Maître, avec un complet désintérêt de soi. Demeurer en permanence en cet état mène au commencement de l'état de négation (...). En cet état un homme ne pense et ne fait que ce que la volonté de son Maître lui ordonne (...). Sa volonté sera complètement subordonnée à la volonté du Maître."

Les pratiques ont évolué, par un glissement lent mais permanent des 10 commandements pris dans leur ensemble vers une prépondérance des pratiques qui favorisent le plus le culte de la personnalité. Ainsi, correspondre et rencontrer le maître sont vivement encouragés. En plus ou à défaut, le souvenir constant du Maître et un abandon total à sa volonté deviennent les règles de base.

De leur côté, les abhyasis se prêtent volontiers au jeu. Ils envoient leur journal à Chari, le questionnent régulièrement sur toutes les décisions qu'ils doivent prendre au quotidien et affichent son portrait partout dans leur maison. Enfin, ils se pressent à ses pieds quel que soit l'endroit où il se rend dans le monde, prêts à tout pour l'apercevoir, le toucher ou susciter une réaction de sa part, comme n'importe quelle groupie teen-ager fan d'un chanteur...

La confusion entre Dieu et le Maître a donc été savamment entretenue. De l'abandon au maître, on est passé au culte de la personnalité. Qui des abhyasis ou de Chari a commencé ? Nul ne le sait plus, c'est comme l'oeuf et la poule, cela n'a pas grande importance, le résultat est là. Les abhyasis sont totalement dépendants de Chari, et Chari en redemande toujours davantage.

Voici des extraits d'un texte du Dr. K.S. Balasubramaniam initialement paru sur le website de la SRCM. Il reconnaît ici que la transmission (pranahuti) existait bien avant le Sahaj Marg, non seulement chez les hindous mais aussi chez les soufis, dans le bouddhisme et le saivisme.
Elle existait il y a très longtemps, entre Saint Vasishtha et Lord Rama, mais elle a aussi été utilisée tout récemment entre Ramakrishna et Vivekananda :

"The method known as Sahaj Marg which is practiced in Shri Ram Chandra Mission. It is a simple, subtle, safe and sure method which takes the aspirant towards human perfection in the shortest possible duration. The greatest advantage in this path is that, the guru or the Master or the guide, whatever one may call him, takes the responsibility of transforming an individual into a perfect human being without much effort on the part of the practitioner. This is made possible through the unique method adopted by the Master, which is termed ‘Pranahuti’ in Sahaj Marg. Pranahuti means ‘offering one’s life energy’. The Master, offers his own life-energy, directs it to the hearts of the disciple through his will power, and awakens the Soul which lies dormant in the heart of the seeker. The seeker has just to receive it in his heart, which he can feel once he turns his attention inwardly. The Pranahuti is defined as “The utilization of the divine energy for the transformation of man”. Sahaj Marg does not bar any one from experiencing this divine energy. Any one without any barrier of colour, caste, creed, sex, religion, nationality etc., can derive the benefit of the Master’s services, without paying anything in return!
Now, naturally a question arises whether this is true or just a fancy. Is there any such reference in early texts on Yoga where such phenomenon was available in ancient times ? The answer is ‘Yes’. We do have many such references in ancient texts where the Yogic energy or the divine energy was transmitted by the teacher to the disciple, resulting in the transformation of the latter. We shall see just a few of them here.
The Yoga Vasishtha, ascribed to the legendary saint Valmiki (who wrote the Ramayana), contains reference of the great saint Vasishtha transforming his disciple lord Rama at once, using this method of transmission. Here three methods of Yogic transmission, viz., by touch, by sight and through words are mentioned. The Sutasamhita, which forms part of Skandapurana, which is at least one thousand five hundreds years old, adds one more to the above list. It includes transmission through will power (or thought) and says that this is the subtlest and the highest method of transmission. It may be pointed here that Sahaj Marg adopts the same method.
In ancient and medieval Sufi systems, this technique of transmission from the heart was known as Tavajjhoh. It may also be noted that ancient Chinese Buddhism also contains references to such practices. The 9th -10th cent A.D. text on Kashmir Saivism also contains references to such method of Yogic transmission adopted by the Master in effecting spiritual evolution of the disciples.
Lord Krishna transmitted the divine energy to Arjuna on the battle field and made him an immortal hero, as can be seen from the great epic Mahabharata.
In recent times, 19th cent, A.D. the great Master of Bengal, Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa transformed his disciple, Narendranath into a Yogi of immortal fame viz., Swami Vivekananda, through the method of transmission of divine energy, Such is the efficiency of this method. The tradition has continued from generation to generation for thousands of years."

Nouvel épisode dans la guéguerre qui oppose la SRCM ® à la SRCM de Shahjahanpur…

Chari en colère !

Le 29 avril, à la veille de l'anniversaire de Babuji, la Cour suprême de justice indienne rendait son jugement dans l'affaire qui oppose Chariji et la SRCM ® à Navneet Kumar Saxena (petit-fils de Babuji et fils d'Umesh Chandra Saxena) et la SRCM de Shahjahanpur.

Navneet a diffusé le jugement sur Tell me Truth India le 3 mai, et Chari a annulé la plupart de ses déplacements en Europe à la même date. On nous a précisé que ce n'était pas pour raison de santé. Faut-il voir un lien de cause à effet entre le jugement et l'annulation du voyage de Chari ?

Navneet précise que les conséquences de ce jugement sont contenues dans les dernières lignes du point 4 : " Now, it only means elected by implication and that to be read in the line of Section 3(A) and 4 proviso, it is pointed out that Section 25(2) refers to election and the remedy to challenge. If there is no remedy nobody is left remedyless. Alternatively, it is submitted that assuming it is to be done by nomination, P. Rajgopalachari could have been nominated, but it has been annulled on 16.4.1982 as Umesh Chandra Saxena remains nominated. It is pointed out that role as President of the Sahaj Marg system is different. The application filed by Sh. Rajgopalachari has to be tested as per clause 3(b), these were not challenged and Rajgopalchari cannot have nay role to play. P.Rajgopalachari could not have been nominated because he is not in the direct line of succession. In any event, after passing of order dated 16.4.1982 he has no role to play. The working committee's decision, resolution of the General Body all are of similar effect. The stand is strongly opposed by the respondent to say that nomination were not merely in respect of the Sahaj Marg system system but it was in respect of President itself."

Puis Navneet a ajouté ce commentaire : "At last Chari, Uma Shankar Bajpai and 6 others have been chargesheeted for the criminal offence of tresspassing into the Ashram on 2nd June 2006. Their non-bailable warrants are being issued for the same from the lower court three days back."

Chari va-t-il faire appel ? Dans tous les cas, il semble très mécontent de la tournure des événements judiciaires. Après avoir maintenu l'inauguration de l'ashram de Milan, son passage à Vrads puis son retour via Dubaï, voilà qu'il annonce le 7 mai qu'il n'ira pas à Milan non plus ! Pour raisons de santé cette fois…

CIVIL APPEAL NO. 6619 OF 2000

Dr. ARIJIT PASAYAT, J.

1. Challenge in this appeal is to the judgment of a Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court. By a common judgment several civil appeals were heard together and disposed of. A common link in all these appeals was the decision of a religious cum Philanthropic Society named Sh. Ram Chandra Mission. It was established by a late Sh. Ram Chandra Ji Maharajan and on his death disputes arose. The disputes essentially relate to spiritual heirship to control the affairs of the mission. Series of litigation was resulted and the four special leaves before the High Court were summed up and by the impugned order the High Court held that all the four appeals were to be dismissed. Before the Division Bench orders of learned Single Judge were challenged. The relief sought for were categorized under five heads.

1. Grant of letters of administration in favour of Sri U.C. Saxena in respect of the properties of Sri Ram Chandra Mission through out India and abroad.
2. Declaration and Sri Umesh Chandra Saxena was the President of the Mission and the second petitioner was the Secretary thereof.
3. An interim grant during pendency of the application.
4. In the alternative appointment of a receiver in respect of the entire estate of deceased Sr. Ram Chandra Mission, and
5. Any other relief.

2. The special leaves were filed by Umesh Chandra Saxena and others, Uma Shankar and Another, the present appellants and another. Special leave by the Umesh Chandra Saxena and Anr. Sri. P. Rajagopalichari were the respondent while in the first special leave by Umesh Chandra Saxena and Anr. The Administrative General, U.P. Allahabad and others were the parties.

3. Background facts as highlighted by the appellant in this appeal are as follows:Sh. Ram Chandra Mission-Society was registered, established and founded by Maharaj, Shri Ram Chandra Ji Maharaj with its constitution, bye laws and Memorandum of Society on 21.7.1995. Purportedly there was a covering letter to the intimation dated 23.3.1974 alleged to have been executed by the founder in favour of respondent P. Rajagopalachari. This intimation according to the appellant was the result of manipulation and fraud. The nomination was declared him to be the president of society and clearly stated that he shall work for the Mission and he is "President of Sahaj Marga System". On 16.4.1982 nomination was executed in favour of Shri Umesh Chandra Saxena as spiritual representative in the direct line of succession and he was nominated as the successor or President under Rules 3 and 4 of the registered constitution, bye laws of the society. The nomination/declaration clearly stated that the previous nomination if any made by the founder stand superseded and cancelled. Founder - Shri Ram Chandraji Maharaj breathed his last on 19.4.983. On 4.1.1984 a civil suit was filed by three members of the Society in the Court of Civil Judge, Shahjanpur who granted ex-parte injunction restraining P. Rajgopalachari from acting as President. On 6.2.1984 and 7.2.1984 working Committee meeting was held at head quarters and after perusal of booklet Sh. U.C. Saxena was declared as a successor or President and also the spiritual representation in the direct line of succession on the basis of nomination of 16.4.1982. The claim of P. Rajgopalachari based on the alleged nomination dated 23.3.1994 was treated as rejected. On 8.2.1984 General Body was held at the head quarter of the Society and the claim of Sh. Umesh Chandra Saxena was approved and he was declared as spiritual representative in the direct line of succession and also as the successor or President of the society. Claim of P. Rajgopalachari based on the alleged nomination was rejected. On 15.2.1982 a circular was issued by Secretary Sh. S. A. Sarnad informing all members regarding the declaration of Sh. Umesh Chandra Saxena as Successor President and the spiritual representative in the direct line of succession. An amendment was carried out to the Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 30.4.1984. Section 3(A) was amended by the substitution of sub section 4 of Section 3(A) and addition of a proviso to Section 4(1). By virtue of Section 3(a)(4). List of the members of the managing Committee Body elected was required to be filed. Ex-parte injunction was granted on 4.1.1984 was confirmed on 9.4.1984. In appeal by respondent No. 1, P. Rajgopalachari the High Court granted stay of injunction. The High Court allowed the first appeal and set aside the injunction order. SLP filed against the order of the High Court was dismissed by this Court on 27.9.1985. The suit was subsequently withdrawn on 10.7.1997 on giving of an undertaking not to alignate and not to shift the head quarters. On 23.1.1988 elections were held at the head quarters in accordance with Section 3(A)(4) and Section 4 and the office bearers were duly elected Sh. S.P. Srivastava as President and Sh. B.D. Mahajan as Secretary respectively. On 24.4.1990 in proceeding under Section 25 of the Act report of the Tehsildar counter signed by the SDM as the prescribed authority under Section 25 was passed recognizing the representation of aforesaid two persons as the President and Secretary. On 29.7.1991 another report was given by the tehsildar and K.G. in a proceeding under Section 25 recognising the same position. The aforesaid reports were questioned on behalf of respondent No. 1 before the prescribed authority by an application called SU-2/91 the application was rejected by the prescribed authority and earlier reports were confirmed. An application was moved by 75 members of the society for action under Section 25(2) of the Act on 20.4.1993. On 15.2.1994 elections were held and Sh. Umesh Chandra Saxena and Sh.K.V. Reddy were elected as President and Secretary respectively. on 29.9.1994 the Assistant Registrar passed order holding that since the Constitution provides for nomination of President election cannot be conducted. He also held that in view of the interim orders in civil suit OS (No.) 200 of 1983 the respondent No. 1 P. Rajagopalachari shall continue to work as President. As noted above the suit was withdrawn on 10.7.1997 with liberty to file fresh suit. On 10.7.1997 writ petition No. 37023 of 1994 filed against the order dated 29.9.1994 was dismissed by learned Single Judge. On 24.11.1998 the Division Bench dismissed the special leave No. 580 of 1987 holding that since under the Rules of the society the post of the President and Members of the working committee is not an elected one, Section 25 would not come out and took play. The High Court, however held that Registrar had no authority to direct anybody to continue an office. It was further held that the application under Section 25(2) itself was untenable and so was the writ petition. On 22.1.1999 elections were held and again Umesh Chandra Saxena and Sh. K. V. Reddy were elected as President and Secretary in accordance with the amended provisions of the Act. On 3.11.2003 Sh. Umesh Chandra Saxena expired and Navneet Kumar Saxena was elected unanimously as the President of the Society in an emergent meeting which was held at Hyderabad by working committee. The general Body on 22.11.2003 had approved and confirmed the election of the Navneet Kumar Saxena as the President of the society. Further the amendment proposed and adopted by the General body of the society, in order to make the rules in consonance of the provisions of the Act. On 12.2.2005 elections were held in the society for electing the Managing committee and again Navneet Kumar Saxena and K. V. Reddy was elected as the president and Secretary respectively.

4. Primarily the stand is that if Section 3(A)(4) as introduced by Act 11 of 1984 cannot be given a restricted meaning. If it is elected to Managing Body "elected" then the provision made would be rendered "nugatory". It is intended to provide that even if Rules, say otherwise "elections" has to be introduced, Section4 (Proviso) is also relevant. The stand is that earlier there was no need for list of elected members as there was no elected member. So the purpose is to have elected members. Section 4 speaks of an annual list. If the intention was that the members were to be elected, the legislature could have said so specifically without leaving it to be inferred by implication. Section 27 provides for the consequence for non compliance with Section 4. It is stated that the position in 1975 was that chosen includes "election". Now, it only means elected by implication and that to be read in the line of Section 3(A) and 4 proviso, it is pointed out that Section 25(2) refers to election and the remedy to challenge. If there is no remedy nobody is left remedyless. Alternatively, it is submitted that assuming it is to be done by nomination, P. Rajgopalachari could have been nominated, but it has been annulled on 16.4.1982 as Umesh Chandra Saxena remains nominated. It is pointed out that role as President of the Sahaj Marg system is different. The application filed by Sh. Rajgopalachari has to be tested as per clause 3(b), these were not challenged and Rajgopalchari cannot have nay role to play. P.Rajgopalachari could not have been nominated because he is not in the direct line of succession. In any event, after passing of order dated 16.4.1982 he has no role to play. The working committee's decision, resolution of the General Body all are of similar effect. The stand is strongly opposed by the respondent to say that nomination were not merely in respect of the Sahaj Marg system system but it was in respect of President itself.

5. It is pointed out that the earlier suit having direct effect was withdrawn and the effect of it has to be considered. The effect of the withdrawal of a suit has been considered by this Court in K. Sivaramaiah v. Rukmani Ammal [2004(1) SCC 471]. It was inter alia observed as follows:

"So far as Original Suit No. 7359 of 1989 is concerned, the findings recorded in the judgment therein could have constituted res judicata but the fact remains that the appellate court permitted the withdrawal of the suit and once the suit has been permitted to be withdrawn all the proceedings taken therein including the judgment passed by the trial court have been wiped out. A judgment given in a suit which has been permitted to be withdrawn with the liberty of filing a fresh suit on the same cause of action cannot constitute res judicate in a subsequent suit filed pursuant to such permission of the court."

6. It is not necessary to deal with the true import of Sections 3(A) and 4. It would be appropriate to direct that the pending suit shall be decided within a period of six months.

7. The effect and relevance of any proceedings which have attained finality shall be duly considered in the pending suit. It is open to the parties to move for such interim protection as the circumstances warrant. The appeal stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

fine, that you are healthy and “in station” again. So, maybe, we can ask you some questions (or repeat some unanswered questions).

1. Y O U R D E C I S I O N IN ANSWER TO THE JUDGEMENT CONCERNING CIVIL APPEAL NO. 6619 OF 2000 (Supreme Court) should be given to the public. The Court decided that the decision of case of 2007 has to be done latest in 6 months. Will you take any legal activities of a so-called interim protection?

7. Would you agree, if your grandfather Ram Chandra of Shajahanpur was the - ONLY - GURU OF SRCM, then SRCM wasn‘t created in honor of Ram Chandra of Fategarh and there will be no sucessor in future, too?

8. Do you know, that many (“very normal” people, not so- called special personalities) know the exact time when they will die, that others know that they will be killed? - My question is, HOW LIVED your grandfather his life knowing that there will be an attempt on his life and how did he deal with the question of death?

[A B: “Out of his explanations it seems to me stated, too, that Babuji (the special personality) seemed to be unable to find out W H O tried to make an attempt on his life.”

N a v n e e t K u m a r: Babuji did know that the attempt was being made on his life. His last letter clearly states so too. [The question again is: WHO?] He also predicted his long hospitalization, which also was true as we know that Babuji was in hospital from September soon after coming back from Paris to April 19th 1983 (The day of his Mahasamadhi. Moreover, as pointed by A old abhyasi about my Aunty stating B a b u j i ’s r e q u e s t o f F I R before leaving to Paris also clearly states that Babuji knew what the future had store for him.]

You allow me to tell the story of a well-known man in this context,
the story of the Sufi master Mansoor Hillaj.

It is said that Mansoor al Hillaj’s way to be killed was the worst ever done up to then. First his legs were cut off, then his hands were cut. He was alive. Then his tongue was cut, then his eyes were taken out. He was still alive. He was cut in pieces.
What crime had he done?
He had said, “An’al Haq.” (“I am the Truth. I am God.”)
The Seers of the Upanishads declare, “Aham Brahmasmi.” (“I am the Brahma, the Supreme Self.”)

The people couldn’t tolerante somebody saying this.
It is said when they cut Mansoor in peaces he looked to the sky and prayed to God and said, “You cannot deceive me! I can see you in everybody present here.
You are trying to deceive me? You have come as a the murderer?
I tell you in whatever form you come, I will recognize you, because I have recognized you in myself.”

And I’d like to direct your attention to the following text: “My Master had been seriously ill in the early part of the year 1974, and had to be finally hospitalised in Lucknow, where he lay in deep coma for almost one month. In view of his advanced age - he being 75 years old then - there were deep, though unexpressed, fears that the end may not be long. It was much of a miracle to most of us when he regained consciousness, and then went on to regain health.

It was my privilege to have been with him for part of the time he was hospitalised. I also went to Shahjahanpur after he was discharged from the hospital in Lucknow, and stayed with him for many days till he was relatively in better health, after his month of long ordeal. It was then that he revealed to me that he had chosen me to be his spiritual represantive, to eventually succeed him as the President of the Mission, whenever this became necessary. Those were, for me, very moving days, driving me to tears from moment to moment. Those were the blessed days when his gentle and deeply abiding love flowed upon me, over me, like a spring drizzle under blazing sunshine. Those were also the days of the most personal intimacy between us, when there seemed to be nothing at all between us, exept our two identities. It was as if he had removed all barriers between ourselves, and we were blissfully together in a oneness that would perhaps be difficult to experience later.

It was a time of the greatest happiness for me, and, rather surprisingly, the time of the greatest sorrow for me too, for it was then that I had to face the certain knowledge that one day my beloved would leave me to go into the brighter World. This knowledge almost broke my heart. He could of course divine it at a glance, and he would gently chide me for such thoughts, saying ‘I shall be with you for many more years. Do not worry about it now. Mrs . Davies told me that I shall live till 2006 or 2007, and others have told me the same thing. So don’t cry now. I shall be with you for a long time. One day we all shall have to go. But I repeat, it is very far off.’ Thus he would chide me and comfort me. But nevertheless, I could not bear to think of the time when he would not be with me, and thus began for me the hidden sorrow in my heart, which has never left me, and which, in 1983, became the stark and devastating reality that shall haunt me for the rest of my life. .....” P. Nawneet Kumar, I see that you give second-hand informations to the auditory , which - generally - in most cases are unreliable, although there may be some truth in them. And I see, that we speek different languages (see 3.).

About the time of death of your grandfather you said

“My father had gone to America for his treatment, after attending the paris function. He came to know of Babuji’s illness and that he had been taken to hospital. So he cut short his visit returned back, and t h e n r e m a i n e d w i t h B a b u j i t i l l h e w a s i n t h e h o s p i t a l ....”

[First of all: Your father could afford to go for to U. S. for medical Treatment, this in the year 1983. I know Indians (professors, physicians, I don’t speak about poor people) who - in 2008 - say they can’t afford to go to a Western country. And I remember having read somewhere that the father of the same person, Babuji, told, that he couldn’t afford to drink milk, this in the days when the first visitors came to his home. (Somewhere I read that his trips to the West were paid by Western (Danish?) abhyasis.) I am surprised about what you tell here about about a medical treatment of your father. (But this isn’t the most important aspect of the discussion here.] The question is: WHERE was your father when Babuji DIED? WHO was with Babuji when he DIED?

- You never answered these questions.

I have nobody to ask for permission to write on this or any other blog. I can’t agree with the intentions behind SOME BLOGS and some comments. Moreover I don’t believe that the so-called discussions there serve the subject. For you, Navneet, I may say: You may think you serve the interests of your grandfather. It is my strong belief, that you don’t do.

Ashrams : la fièvre acheteuse ?

Recherche local commercial 300 m² avec bureaux. Telle est la petite annonce que pourrait passer la SRCM Lyon actuellement. En effet, Ajay Kumar Bhatter a donné son accord au Centre de Lyon pour entamer la recherche d'un ashram.
"Comment construire un Ashram - grâce à l'amour du Maître", tel est le thème du séminaire suisse qui s'est déroulé du 19 au 21 septembre 2008 à Vaumarcus, près de Neuchatel…

Les cadeaux de César

A Lyon, le "cadeau du Maître" va coûter 300 000 € selon les estimations des responsables. Dans sa grande bonté, la SRCM France qui récupère 60 € sur une cotisation de 75 et gère son petit million d'euros de placements financiers prévoit d'en financer la moitié. Aucun financement international n'est prévu. Les abhyasis lyonnais doivent trouver le restant par eux-mêmes : à savoir à peu près 3000 € par personne ! Tel est donc le cadeau de Chari…
A quoi sert la fondation suisse SMSF qui collecte les donations européennes si elle ne participe pas ?
Alors que les travaux de rénovation de l'ashram de Lausanne sont à peu près terminés, alors qu'il est devenu un lieu de vie de plus en plus actif, Chari a décidé de s'en débarrasser pour en faire construire un autre ailleurs. Les abhyasis ont beau ne pas être convaincus, Chari passe outre quitte à dynamiter la dynamique romande et c'est donc "grâce à son amour" que devra se construire ce nouvel ashram. Grâce à l'amour de Chari…

Tels sont les généreux cadeaux de Chari à ses chers abhyasis !

Des transferts de fonds vers l'Inde

A la SRCM de Chari, un ashram c'est a minima un hall de méditation avec un cottage ou un appartement pour Chari. Et le cottage a autant sinon plus d'importance que le hall de méditation, puisque le plus grand espoir des abhyasis est de voir Chari leur rendre visite…
Effectuons un bref retour en arrière sur l'apparition de ces ashrams qui poussent comme des champignons :

1976, Babuji inaugure l'ashram de Shahjahanpur. 30 ans après la création de la SRCM, c'est le premier ashram de la Mission, le seul que créera jamais Babuji. Et encore, c'est en prenant sur ses propres biens familiaux…
Arrive 1988-89, 10 ans plus tard. Babuji est décédé et c'est Chari qui tient les commandes. Changement de stratégie : il a chauffé à blanc ses fidèles occidentaux. S'il veulent le voir revenir, il leur faut un ashram. Ce seront d'abord le château d'Augerans en France et Molena aux USA. Et cela ne semble jamais s'arrêter : Vrads au Danemark, Broomlee en Ecosse, etc.
A nouveau 10 ans plus tard, Chari s'est fait un nom, une renommée en Occident. Il est temps pour lui de songer à rentrer au pays. Cette fois, il saigne les occidentaux pour ses projets indiens. Et en 1999 on inaugure en grandes pompes le Babuji Memorial Ashram (5 ha, un hall de méditation pour 13 000 personnes, 2 à 3 millions de dollars estimés à l'époque). Et les grands ashrams indiens suivent : Bangalore, Tiruppur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Allahabad, Calcutta et Satkhol. A titre d'exemple, l'ashram d'Ahmedabad s'étend sur 2 hectares, son hall de méditation peut accueillir 2500 personnes, il y a des dortoirs pour 750 personnes et une quinzaine d'appartements…
2005 : Nouveau changement ! On ne finance plus d'ashrams mais une école (la LMOS), des centres de formation (CREST) et des centres de retraite (Panshet, Malampuzha, etc.). Diversification des projets et des investissements, mais c'est toujours en Inde essentiellement que ça se passe. Le transfert des fonds occidentaux vers l'Inde fonctionne à plein régime. Pourquoi changer ?

En clair, Chari a commencé à investir en Europe et aux Etats-Unis, ou plutôt il a fait investir les abhyasis occidentaux chez eux, pour ensuite mieux pouvoir leur demander de financer son quartier général en Inde (le BMA), ainsi que tous ses nouveaux projets…

Au bon vouloir de Chari

Chari s'amuse ! Il joue avec les abhyasis, comme pour tester jusqu'où il ne faut pas aller, sachant qu'on n'a pas encore vu la fin. Ils acceptent tout sans broncher…

En 2003, contre toute attente, il fait revendre le château d'Augerans. Puis les abhyasis australiens doivent revendre leur terrain d'Armadale, près de Perth. Le 16 mai 2006, Chari donne son accord aux Italiens pour leur projet d'ashram, lors de son passage chez eux. Une semaine plus tard, depuis Vrads au Danemark, il annule le projet pour mieux autoriser le 2 juin suivant le projet berlinois. Il dit non au projet londonien et renvoie les abhyasis irlandais et anglais sur Vrads…

Mais Chari ne fait pas que s'amuser ! Si les abhyasis doivent lui demander la permission, ils doivent aussi se débrouiller par eux-mêmes pour le financement. A quoi sert donc la fondation suisse SMSF qui collecte les donations européennes si elle ne participe pas ? Chari (la SMSF) n'a financé que les deux tiers de l'ashram de Berlin. Combien a-t-il mis sur la table pour Milan ? Il refuse de participer financièrement au Royaume-Uni, malgré les 1500 € versés en moyenne par abhyasi ? Et il ne met pas un centime non plus à Lyon quand les abhyasis doivent trouver 3000 € chacun…

Alors, pour que leur projet aboutisse, les responsables du Centre de Lyon ont tout particulièrement soigné leur campagne de communication, en adoptant une stratégie d'évitement des questions financières.
Pour ce faire, ils utilisent les mots de P.R. Krishna, fils de Chari et responsable de la gestion des ashrams dans le monde : un ashram, "il faut le vouloir de tout son cœur. (…) Le problème n'est pas l'argent. Quand le Maître agit, les projets viennent et l'argent est trouvé."
Quand le Maître agit, Chari ne fait rien d'autre que donner son accord via le bout des lèvres d'Ajay pour la recherche d'un ashram. En gros, "allez-y, débrouillez vous". Cela ne signifie pas qu'il acceptera l'achat final, ce genre de revirement s'est déjà vu ! Quant à la SRCM France, elle est beaucoup plus généreuse : du haut de son pactole boursier, elle daigne apporter la moitié du financement, quand elle touche déjà 80% du montant des cotisations de base qui seront doublées l'an prochain…

Un ashram, "il faut le vouloir de tout son cœur". De tout son cœur, vraiment ? Oui, mais surtout de tout son porte-monnaie !
En attendant, "quand le Maître agit", la bourse s'effondre… et les projets sont abandonnés.

Srivastava. On notera que Ragavendra Rao de Raichur arrive en tête de la liste des membres et qu'Umesh Chandra Saxena n'y figure nulle part, contrairement à ses frères. Chari non plus, évidemment...

Si l'on en croit les derniers documents publiés par Shashwat Pandey, Babuji écrit un courrier incendiaire à Chari le 6 avril 1982 auquel ce dernier répond le 12 avril. D'après Navneet Kumar Saxena, Babuji aurait ensuite rédigé une lettre de nomination de son fils Umesh Chandra le 16 avril suivant. Mais ce n'est que le 28 juin qu'il nomme S.A. Sarnad secrétaire de la Mission en lieu et place de Chari, d'après Shashwat…
Puis le 2 septembre, d'après Navneet, il écrit à MD Jahagirdar que Chari dérive de l'enseignement initial, qu'il se présente illégitimement comme son successeur et qu'il a tenté de l'empoisonner à plusieurs reprises depuis 4 ans, mais qu'il a trouvé son successeur. Il ne le nomme pas mais annonce aussi qu'il devra être accompagné par Srivastava, Narayana et Kashi Ram Agarwal ainsi que Nasib Chand.

Rappelons auparavant le contexte général. En 1981, les seniors précepteurs Raghavendra Rao et Ramachandra Reddy entament une tournée non officielle aux USA avec Umeshchandra Saxena, un fils de Babuji qui n'est même pas précepteur. Tout est devenu très sombre en 1982 lors du voyage de Babuji en France. André Poray est partout en avant de la scène, Chari qui n'a pas été invité est relégué en coulisses. Babuji est très malade.

Shashwat Pandey ne nous fournit pas le contenu de la lettre de Babuji à Chari, mais la réponse de ce dernier (à lire ici). Chari cite Babuji : "something more is needed on your part, and you are aware of it." Et il lui demande pardon pour ses échecs et erreurs tout en l'assurant de son amour et de sa volonté de bien faire…

Chari aurait joué au larbin bien intentionné… mais Babuji avait-il encore toute sa tête ?

En voici une transcription APPROXIMATIVE, le document n'étant pas toujours bien lisible et mon anglais limité(merci à ceux qui pourront me corriger) :

reply, because it is not easy to understand all that you have
written. All that I am able to understand is that you expect
from me something that is now lacking. You have written that
"something more is needed on your part, and you are aware of it."
I am aware that there are very many things that are needed on my
part. The difficulty is to know what. I would be most grateful if
you would kindly elaborate and give me more detailed comments.
I have been trying to come up to your expectations, but
it is obvious that I have so far failed. From your last sentence
it is clear that "glittering in the heart" is also not there, which
you want.
I have made you my goal. If there is anything that I

I am convinced that this can be possible only if you want this to
be achieved. I am not trying to make any excuses. I have not tried
hard enough - that is clear from what you now write. It has now
plunged me into despair.
I am conscious that I have not deserved even a fraction
of the love and grace that you have poured upon me all these 18
years that I have been at your holy feet. All that I now want in is
that by your Benevolent Grace, a day may dawn when you may call
me affectionately to your side, and say "Parthasarathi, you have
today deserved all that I have been giving you all these years.
Now proceed on with the work, and go ahead!"
Mistakes I have been making all my life. I have even
been guilty of disrespect towards your Divine and Holy SXXf on
not a few occasions. I beg your pardon for all my unthinking
failures and mistakes, and pray to you to rectify and correct all
the faults in me, and make of me what you will.

Deux trois petites choses qu'il n'est pas inutile de rappeler

Navneet Kumar Saxena et Shashwat Pandey ne sont pas des adorateurs de Chari, loin de là. Le premier a accusé Chari d'avoir produit un faux document en 1974, l'inverse peut être vrai pour ces documents soi-disant écrits en 1982.

Cyrille, dans la nébuleuse des full précepteurs nommés par Babuji, rapporte qu'aucun des fils de Babuji ne participait aux satsangs, au grand désespoir des abhyasis indiens et occidentaux. Comment se fait-il donc que Babuji ait décidé de nommer l'un de ses fils et de destituer Chari ?

Michael, qui ne peut être considéré lui-même comme un admirateur de Chari, présent en France en septembre 1982, témoigne que Babuji était malade et délirait. Il ajoute que tout document signé par Babuji à cette époque a peu de crédibilité :

Paris 1982

I attended the Paris 1982 gathering. My observation is that, at that time there were those who supported Chari and those who opposed him. Andre Poray was on the side that opposed Chari. There was no doubt in my mind that this gathering was an attempt to divert western attention away from Chari. Chari was explicitly not invited to the gathering, however, somehow, he managed to be there. I was told that this was because Babuji demanded Chari’s presence there. This may or may not be true, as Chari may simply have shown up on his own accord. Chari was in a room next to Babuji's, which adds credence to the theory that Babuji wanted him there. Members of Chari’s opposition attempted to attend to Babuji keeping Chari as far away as possible. I spent many an hour in Chari's room and witnessed Babuji's attendees sheepishly requesting Chari’s presence in Babujis room due to Babuji’s request.

I also witnessed that Babuji was sick and delirious. Attendees would drive him to the meditation hall, and carry him into the hall, this effort requiring two large men to carry out. He would black out and fall on his knees if he tried to walk. It was as if they were carrying a corpse into the hall for all to see. Any letter written by Babuji at this time in this state, is questionable, especially such a long letter as the one on the Umesh Clan website. In my opinion, any official documents signed by Babuji during this time frame has little credibility.

Chari on the other hand was also aggressively keeping himself in the public eye. He played the role of the man in exile, holding court in his small room, inviting friendly disciples to mediate with him. It was a very effective bit of drama as he knew that people like myself would see his opposition attempt to attend to Babuji in a western country, while Babuji had come accustomed to Chari serving this role. Babuji's constant calls for Chari were embarrassing I'm sure to Chari’s opposition.

As for the references to the doctor attending to Babuji. I spoke with the Doctor at length just after Babuji left. He was a German doctor who practiced both homeopathic and conventional, allopathic medicine. No mention of treachery. His story was that Babuji was far too sick to travel to the west and should never had made the trip. He felt that the trip to Paris would likely be the death of Babuji. Given that Babuji never fully recovered from this trip, his words have the most credibility of all other claims.

Kum. Kasturi Chaturvedi a rejoint Babuji dès 1949. C'est une personnalité qui fait autorité au sein de la mouvance du Sahaj Marg. Babuji parlait d'elle comme d'une sainte. Aujourd'hui, elle transmet les enseignements de Babuji en toute indépendance, depuis Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), bien qu'elle soit inscrite sur la liste des précepteurs de Chari.

Le 30 avril 1995 à Madras, elle a prononcé un discours qui clarifie sa position vis-à-vis de Chari et des différents soubresauts juridiques de la SRCM. Elle y affirme que Chari a bel et bien été préparé par Babuji pour devenir son représentant spirituel et président de la SRCM après lui. En revanche, si elle reconnaît le Chari créé par Babuji, elle refuse celui qui a été fabriqué par ses adeptes ! D'où la distance qu'elle a pris vis-à-vis de lui…

J'ai ressenti le besoin de donner un résumé du discours que j'ai délivré à Madras le 30 avril 1995 car nombreux sont ceux qui, présents à la célébration et qui m'ont rencontrée après, l'ont mal interprété. J'en donne donc l'essentiel en anglais dans un but de clarification.

Chers frères et sœurs, aujourd'hui nous célébrons avec le plus grand enthousiasme, le 97ème anniversaire de naissance de notre bien-aimé révéré Sri Babu Ji Maharaj, le président fondateur de la Mission, ainsi que le jubilé d'or de la Mission Sri Ram Chandra qu'Il a fondé. Avec la permission du président et de mon frère Sri Chari Ji, je viens exprimer mes vues devant vous. En fait, depuis de nombreuses années je reçois beaucoup de lettres et de déclarations lançant de nombreuses accusations et exprimant de la colère à mon encontre à cause des souffrances que j’occasionne à votre maître Sri Chari Ji. Aussi, aujourd'hui, je saisis cette opportunité pour bien faire comprendre ma position et pour vous offrir la solution qui vous permettra de vous engager sans diversion aucune à la poursuite de votre pratique spirituelle.

Chers frères et sœurs, vous devez savoir que je n'ai jamais prononcé un seul mot contre lui, ni non plus que je n'ai jamais permis à mon for intérieur de laisser germer ou perpétuer la moindre pensée d'irrespect envers lui, ni de l'ignorer de quelque manière que ce soit ou à aucun moment. Pouvez-vous imaginer pourquoi? Simplement parce que Sri Babu Ji Maharaj l’a préparé pour être Son représentant spirituel et le président de la Mission Sri Ram Chandra de Shahjahanpur.

En vérité, Sri Babu Ji Maharaj m'a non seulement dicté la déclaration de nomination de Sri Chari Ji en tant que Président, mais il m'a aussi divulgué la beauté divine dont Il l'a paré. Sri Chari Ji lui-même n'a même pas pu comprendre comment s'y ajuster. C'est à cause de cela que, par amour et affection pour lui, j'ai de mon propre chef assumé tous les devoirs et responsabilités pour lui. Sri Babu Ji Maharaj ne m'a jamais demandé d'en faire autant. Depuis le jour même de sa déclaration en tant que président, j'ai accompli ces devoirs de tout cœur qu'il en soit conscient ou non, qu'il le reconnaisse ou non. Qu'il se trouva ici ou à l'étranger, en avion ou n'importe où ailleurs, avec le pouvoir conféré par Sri Babu Ji Maharaj, je lui ai fourni une protection instantanée. Alors que vous dormiez tous, j'étais en éveil et dans une condition de vigilance. Lorsqu'il a glissé en descendant des escaliers et s'est cassé la jambe, alors là aussi il aurait pu être sauvé s'il avait eu la pensée que « ma sœur est avec moi pour ma protection ». A cette époque vous avez tous propagé, juste pour le flatter, que « le Maître travaillait à un si haut niveau qu'il n'était pas conscient de lui-même et qu'ainsi il est tombé ».

J'ai entendu une telle propagande sans discontinuer mais j'ai la douleur de dire que ce Chari Ji, que mon bien-aimé Sri Babu Ji Maharaj a paré de beauté divine, n'a pu être identifié ni compris par mon frère présent parmi nous. Pendant de bien longues années vous avez tous été occupés à ne répandre que cette propagande selon laquelle « Tout ce qu'on obtient en spiritualité, vient uniquement de Chari Ji ». Personne n'a cependant osé devenir ce qu'il peut donner et ensuite donner la preuve vivante ce qu'on obtient de lui. De mon côté, j'ai toujours souligné que je ne peux pas accepter le Chari Ji que vous avez fabriqué avec votre propagande. Je ne connais que le Sri Chari Ji que Sri Babu Ji Maharaj avait préparé pour vous aider et vous guider. Alors que moi je le regardais dans son for intérieur, vous, vous l'avez pris au niveau physique seulement – assis dans la chaise, comme une idole et vous avez chanté ses louanges comme des disciples–adorateurs au lieu d'être de véritables disciples. Ceci est tout juste comparable à un officiant du temple, totalement dénué d'amour, de dévotion et de désir pour l’état d’immersion dans le divin (Laya-avasta), employé au temple à offrir aux idoles un rituel régulier de façon mécanique et à s'occuper des dévots, et qui n'obtient en retour que quelques pièces etc.

Par mes discours à de nombreuses occasions et par les sittings, j'ai toujours essayé de mon mieux de vous inculquer l'amour, la dévotion et l'abandon pour que vous atteigniez la dissolution dans le divin (laya-avasta), mais vous n'avez pas cherché à comprendre mon sentiment intérieur d'amour et de fraternité. Au contraire, on m'a taxée d'opposante à Chari Ji. Plus encore, ces dernières années, j'ai reçu des lettres d'abhyasis pleines de mots malsains et menaçants. Mais j'ai avalé tout cela silencieusement car je ne voulais pas casser les liens d'amour avec ce Sri Chari Ji que Sri Babu Ji a paré. Bien sûr quand cela dépassa le niveau de tolérance et que j'en eus l'occasion, je transmis oralement et par écrit à Sri Chari Ji, à Sri Sarnadji, le secrétaire général ainsi qu'à Sri Y.K.Gupta, le secrétaire de zone, le contenu de ces dures lettres provocatrices et inopportunes, mais à ma surprise, personne ne prit la peine de sympathiser avec moi. Aucune consolation ni réaction ne sont venues de Sri Chari Ji; C'est que probablement, en tant que président, il a toujours tenu vos affirmations pour vraies.

C'est peut-être à cause de cela que depuis le Basant de 1995, le pouvoir Divin de Sri Babu Ji Maharaj dans mon for intérieur me pousse constamment à vous parler, et je ne peux simplement pas décrire comment j'ai pu contenir cette force intense jusqu'à ce jour de la célébration de l'anniversaire de naissance de Sri Babu Ji – je ne sais pas comment j'ai pu supporter cette force.

Aujourd'hui, la forme réelle de Sri Chari Ji parée par mon Sri Babu Ji Maharaj est revenue et a revigoré l'intensité de mon amour et de mon affection pour lui; en conséquence, ce pouvoir Divin de Sri Babu Ji Maharaj qui réside en mon for intérieur m'a amenée sur l'estrade pour parler en sa présence. J'ai la douleur de dire que Sri Chari Ji lui-même n'a pas pu comprendre correctement les implications réelles de mes sentiments lorsque j'ai dit: « je n'accepte que le Chari Ji que Sri Babu Ji Maharaj a préparé et je n'accepte pas ce Chari Ji que ses disciples ont fabriqué. »

C'est probablement à cause de cela que tout ce que j'ai désiré faire pour sa protection ou pour la promotion et la propagation du travail de Sri Babu Ji, je l'ai accompli à mon meilleur niveau, restant avec lui, mais cet humble service n'a pas été compris dans la perspective correcte ni par lui ni par vous tous. Aujourd'hui dans ce grand rassemblement de quelques 12000 abhyasis qui participent aux célébrations, je vous délègue toutes mes responsabilités et tous mes devoirs. Allez de l'avant et accomplissez-les de la manière qu’il vous plaira.

Dans mon discours, je vous ai demandé ainsi qu'au Sri Chari Ji que vous avez fabriqué et qui est assis parmi nous, de me dire adieu. Je ne peux plus tolérer votre rancune et votre colère croissantes à mon égard ni sa peine à cause du nom de Kasturi. Je vous ai donc dit: « dites-moi adieu de votre esprit et de votre cœur, oubliez Sri Babu Ji Maharaj qui l'a façonné et ne vous rappelez que de lui ».

Même lorsque je lui ai assuré, avec une confiance totale dans le pouvoir de mon Babu Ji, « que rien n'a été fait qui puisse vous faire du mal », Chari Ji a continué à me traiter avec distance au lieu de se fier à l'assurance de sa propre sœur. Mais attention, je ne parle pas ici de relations mondaines et de conforts physiques ni de courtoisies – il s'agit d'un niveau et d'une sphère bien différents.
Mais je veux éclaircir un point que j'ai omis dans mon discours : si vous venez vers moi pour des sittings etc., comprenez bien que la transmission divine que vous obtiendrez ne viendra que de mon bien-aimé Sri Babu Ji Maharaj, le représentant de la Réalité Ultime – ‘Bhooma’. Je n'ai rien avec moi que Lui. J'ai déjà dit à plusieurs occasions que je ne connais pas la spiritualité. Mon intérieur a simplement pris Sri Babu Ji Maharaj en son sein à Sa première vue (darshan) et s'est perdu dans Son souvenir quelque part. C'est pour Le retrouver que Sri Babu Ji Maharaj m'a emporté quelque part. Il m'emportera encore mais où, je ne le sais pas.

Encore une fois je souligne que la véritable signification de mon adieu de votre intérieur et de vos pensées est que vous me retiriez de là et qu’à ma place, vous installiez le but de votre avancement spirituel pour lequel vous avez tous rejoint la Mission et le Maître.

Ma prière la plus fervente à Sri Babu Ji Maharaj est que Sri Chari Ji vive longtemps dans le souvenir de Sri Babu Ji, qu'il vous procure à tous un service spirituel et qu'il travaille toujours pour le développement de la Mission.

Dear brother and sisters,I had an opportunity to ask saint sister kasturi few questions which i am publishing below :

Kasturi : Yes you can because people should know why i moved away from chariji, also pleae note that the chariji created by babuji is still with me and will be there always but I am away from chariji made by his followers as there is a feeling that whatever they get is from their master chariji and nothing from babuji (Please find the speech in the next post)The primary reason for moving away can be read and understood in my speech"
Here is the Gist of speech given by sister kasturi as MADARS Ashram on 30th april 1995 it clearly says that chariji made by shri babuji is still with bhenji and not the chariji made by his followers.

GIST OF MY SPEECH AT MADRAS ON APRILL 30 1995.

I had felt the necessity of providing a brief of my speech delivered in Hindi at madras on April 30 1995, because many of us who gathered at the celebration and met me afterwards had misinterpreted me hence in away of clarification I am giving the gist of my speech in English.
Dear brother and sisters today we are celebrating with great enthusiasm the 97th birthday of our beloved rev shri babuji maharaj the founder president of the mission and also the golden jublee jublee year of shri Ram Chandra Mission founded by him. With the permission of the president and my brother shri chariji I am before you to express my views . In fact since past many years I have been receiving many letters and statements
Leveling many charges against me and expression of the feeling with anger that I am causing pain to your master shri chariji, so today I intend to avail this opportunity to make this position crystal clear and offer you the solution so that you may henceforth get fully involved without least diversion in pursuance of you sadhna.

Dear brothers and sisters you must know that I had never uttered a single word against him and also never allowed in my inner to germinate or perpetuate even the slightest thought of disrespecting and ignoring him in any way and at any moment.
Can you imagine why not ? merely because he is prepared by shri babuji maharaj as his spritual representative and president of shri ram Chandra mission Shajahanpur.

The truth is that shri babuji maharaj not only told me shri chariji’s declaration as president but also about the divine beauty with which he adorned him , sri chariji himself could not understand what to say of adjusting it. It is on account of this that out of love and affection for him ,I had on my own assumed all the duties and responsibilities for him. Shri babuji never asked me to do so. Ever since his declaration as president I have been discharging these duties wholeheartedly irrespective of the fact whether he is aware of it ,recognizes it or not. Whether he was abroad in the plane or anywhere else with the power bestowed by shri babuji maharaj. I had provided him instant protection. While all of you were sleeping I was awake and in vigilant condition. While coming down stairs when he slipped and got his leg fractured then also he would have been saved if he would have possessed this thought that my sister is with me for protection. At that time you all had propagated just to flatter him ,’Master was working at such a higher level that he was not conscious of himself and hence had a fall’.
I have been hearfing similar propaganda continuously but chariji whom my beloved shri babuji adorned with divine beauty , I am pained to say could not be identified and understood by my brother sitting with us , since pretty long years you all have been busy in making this propaganda that whatever one get in spirituality can only get from chariji, no one had however dared to become that which he cam make and then demonstrate what one will get from him, on my part I had always emphasized that I cannot accept chariji whom you have made through your propaganda . I only sri chariji whom shri babuji maharaj had prepared for you help and guidance. While I lokked him in his inner you have taken him only physically-sitting in the chair like an idol and praised him like his disciple a worshipper instead of being a true follower. It is just like a pujari in the temple employed to offer regular puja to the idols in mechanical way and attend to devotees getting in return just a few coins totally devoid of love ,devotion and craving for layavasta.
I have always tried my level best through my speeches on various occasions and sitting to inculcate in you love , devotion and surrender and thereby attain layavasta ,you have not cared to understand my inner feeling of love and brotherhood. Instead of it I have been signified as opponent of chariji. Not only this I have been receiving letters since the past few years from abyasis full of unhealthy and threatening words. But I swallowed it gently because I could not break loving ties with shri chariji whom shri babuji had adorned.
Ofcourse when it went beyond tolerance and I could not get occasion , I had conveyed the contents of unwarranted and provocative harsh letters to orally as well as in writing to shri chariji, to shri sarnadji, the gen secretary and also to shri Y.K Gupta the Zonal secretary but to my surprise no one even cared to sympathise with me . No consolation or reaction even from shri chariji , probably as president he has always taken your statements as true.
It was perhaps on this acoount that since 1995 Basant utsav , the divine power of shri babuji ,maharaj, in my inner has contantly been forcing me to speak to you amd I just cannot cannot describe how I had contained that intense force until this day of shri babuji’s birth day celebration .I do not know how I could bear that force.
Today the real form of shri chariji as adorned by my shri babuji maharaj has returned and rejuvenated the intensity of my love and affection towards him as a consequence that divine power of shri babuji maharaj dwelling in my inner has brought me on the dias to speak something in his presence. I am pained to say that shri chariji himself could not correctly understand the real implications of feelings when I said ‘ I know only that chariji who was prepared by shri babuji maharaj and I don’t accept the chariji whon his disciples have made.
Probably on account of this whenever and whatever I desired to do either for his protection or for promotion and spread of shri babuji’s work , I had performed it my level best , remaining with him ,but this humble service was not taken into in the correct perspective either by him or by you all. Today in this large gathering of about 12000 abyasis participating in the celebrations. I delegate all my responsibilities and duties to you all . You come foreward and perform same in the manner you like.

In my speech I had asked BIDAI(farewell ) from you all and from shri chariji whom you have made and is sitting with us. I cannot tolerate anymore your growing grudge and anger against myself and his pain on account of Kasturi’s name. Hence I said ‘Bid Farewell to me from you mind ,heart forget shri babuji maharaj who has made him and remember only him.
So much so that when I assured him with full confidence in my babuji’s power. That no no such thing has been made which can hurt you’ Even then instead of relying upon his sister’s assurance , chariji had continued to treat me at a distance . But beware I am not talking of worldly relations and physical comforts and courtesies that has quite a different level and sphere.
But I wish to make clear one more point which I had missed in my speech i.e you should come to me for sittings etc with a clear understanding that whatever divine transmission you will get , it will be only from my beloved shri babuji maharaj the representative of the ultimate reality Bhooma. I have nothing with me excepting him. I have already spoken on occasions that I don’t know spirituality, my inner simply took shri babuji maharaj in the core at his first sight (darshan) and got lost in his remembrance somewhere. It was to trace it that shri babuji maharaj took me somewhere, he will take me still where I don’t know.
Again I emphasize that the true meaning of my taking bidai from your inner thoughts is to remove me from there and in place you install the goal of your spiritual advancement for which you all have joined the mission amd master .
It is my earnest prayer to shri babuji maharaj that shri chariji may live long remaining in remembrance of shri babuji and provide spiritual service to you all and always work up for the development of the mission

I just heard today about this blog on Kasturi Behenji and I have perused it with great delight! My husband (Jean-Francois)and I have been in Babuji's Mission for a very long time, first and foremost as abhyasis and also at His service as preceptors. We go regularly to Lucknow to Sister Kasturi and tell everyone around us about Her, Babuji and His MIssion. It is a great relief to see that Behenji has authorized such a blog, thus giving the possibility to connect more seekers to Babuji through Her.
I would like to take the opportunity to inform French speaking abhyasis that I have translated in French the following books from Sister Kasturi: Anant Yatra Vol.I, Anant Yatra Vol.II and "Who was He?" There has been a common anxiety of the intellectuals about the roots of “Sahaj Marg” (a spiritual-system propagated by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Shahjahanpur), whether or not is an offshoot of Sufism, mainly because on the grounds of its declared “Aadiguru” (founder-spiritual-Master), Mahatma Ramchandra (Laalaaji) Maharaj of Fatehgarh (UP) was a saint-preceptor of Naqshbandiya-sufi-nisbat (esoteric-lineage).
Recently we have received a scanned-copy of a personal letter signed by the Founder President of ‘Shri Ram Chandra Mission’, Shahjahanpur (UP). The sender of this document is Shri S.R.D. Kudesia (Sampat Baabu) of Fatehgarh (UP). Shri Bhagwan Bharose Vaidya, the addressee of this letter was Sampat Baabu’s father and an adherent of Rev. Laalaaji Maharaj, right from his Govt. service-period in Fatehgarh-courts.

My dear Bhagwan Bharosey
I have gone through your letter address-
ed to Dr. L.P.Srivastava. I am very thankful to you for having
graced our annual function by your kind presence. Your company,
short though it was, was very joyful to me and I long to have it
again
I am also grateful to you for your appreciation of my
thought which usually none even gives time to hear about. I am
where I ought to be and I sincerely wish that all of us may be up
to know and practise what is actually real.
Times have undergone radical changes but to my greatest
regret I find our brothers sleeping yet. The Mohamadan systems
have all breathed their last and this, 'The Sahaj Marga' the only ONE has now emerg
ed out in their place. Its teachings and methods widely differ
from those of the old systems in many respects. One having a deve
loped vision and being sensitive to some extent at least, can
easily mark well the difference between the two. The method of
training and the nature of Faez are all purely Hinduised and they
are free from all superfluous things introduced into the ways of
transmission under those systems. The spiritual connections
of all Mohamadan Sansthas - Naqshbandi, Chishti and all -
have been cut off. The fact has been discovered by most of the
prominent Mohamadan saints of standing, even, and I know
of one who acknowledged this fact before my brother disciple
Shri Rameshwar Prasad Misra.
I do not mean to induce you or any body else to accept it
on my words but I simply point it out to every one to study and
judge for himself. The changing nature of the world is a clear
indication of it. Every one should now qualify himself for the
new system which has come down direct from above. Then alone
shall he be capable of transmitting on others the desired effect
My revered Master has prepared me for this sort of work. During
his life time he valued my letters to him so highly that he pre-
served them safely. All of them depict something or the other
of the Nature's course which is being displayed today.
I have authorised Dr. Lalta Prasad Srivastava to impart
spiritual training to Abhyasis through transmission. I am con-
fident that he will do his job well and shall be thoroughly
capable of standing all tests.

Salut les amis,

Je suis un Indien d'Australie. J'ai fait partie de ce groupe pendant environ 1 à 2 ans, puis je l'ai finalement quitté en 2006. Je vais exprimer mon expérience à propos de ce groupe.

Je suis une personne ouverte d'esprit et j'ai rejoint ce groupe en l'an 2004 en raison de mon intérêt pour la spiritualité. Au départ, j'ai été très heureux de savoir que dans ce système il y a un Gourou et que l'on peut faire des progrès individuels en spiritualité. Pendant ce temps, Chariji a visité un ashram (en Indes) à la veille de l'anniversaire de Babuji. J'ai pris mon premier sitting ce jour là. Avant de nous asseoir dans le hall, mon cousin (il est aussi dans ce groupe) m'a dit d'effacer "Tilak" (un symbole que les hindous se font sur le front pendant le service). J'ai été très surpris de sa demande. Je n'ai pas aimé ca, mais j'ai pensé qu'il y avait peut-être une raison à cela... Peu à peu, j'ai commencé à faire la pratique sincèrement comme mon précepteur me disait de faire. Au cours de ma pratique de méditation, j'ai appris que ces personnes, et Chariji sont strictement contre les religions (en particulier l'Hindouisme). Selon les discours de Chariji et le comportement de ses adeptes, une chose était manifeste, c'est que tout ce qui est lié à l'hindouisme n'est pas accepté par ceux-ci et a été interdit...
Ils sont contre tout ce qui touche à l'hindouisme... c'est-à-dire les autres méditations (qui prennent plus de temps pour l'illumination et ils ont d'autres buts que l'illumination selon Chariji), le yoga, les exercices de respiration (pranayama), le culte des idoles ou tout autre moyen d'adorer Dieu. Ils étaient même contre les mudras qui sont traditionnellement utilisés dans le yoga afin de parvenir à un bon système de santé et à la guérison... On me disait techniquement ou indirectement de quitter ma religion. Je sentais que je devais changer de religion ou que je devais changer à un certain point. Selon Chariji, les autres méditations nous conduisent à la réalisation de pouvoirs surnaturels, ce qui n'est pas l'objectif d'un individu et quels que soient les types de méditations ou les méthodes spirituelles qui existent sur la terre, ils égarent les individus... La sienne est la seule méthode de méditation (trademark...) qui nous conduit vers la bonne voie... ("la mienne est mieux que la votre") et il a également affirmé qu'il est le seul maître capable sur cette terre (choisi par notre mère nature), a qui a été donné la responsabilité de la population sur cette terre...

J'ai été surpris par ce genre de déclaration qui me paraît stupide. En moi-même, je n'étais pas d'accord avec cette déclaration.

Je vais faire de mon mieux pour informer les gens qui sont encore attachés à ce groupe. Mon jeune frère en fait également partie, mais je ne peux pas l'informer tout de suite puisque je suis ici en Australie. Je lui ai parlé de votre communauté et lui ait passé les "liens". Donc aujourd'hui, il est moins attaché à eux (il ne va plus aux satsangs), mais participe encore aux sittings avec son précepteur. La soeur de mon cousin s'intéresse aussi à la méditation, elle a organisé des sittings avec son précepteur et puis elle a également dû se déplacer aux États-Unis pour des études plus approfondies. Après son arrivée aux États-Unis, elle a contacté un précepteur local et a pris quelques sittings. Maintenant je l'ai aussi mise en garde et lui ai fait découvrir votre communauté, d'abord elle s'est fâchée contre moi parce qu'elle a ressenti un flux de reiki au cours de ses 3 première séances. Alors, elle était convaincue que ce système n'est pas faux. Mais je lui ai dit que ça (la transmission) peut être le reiki, tout au plus... il ne s'agit pas de méditation, et il n'est pas nécessaire d'être dépendant d'un gourou pour faire du reiki. Après quelques temps elle a réalisé que les gens de la srcm sont «aggresifs». Ils disent toujours "de faire ceci, de faire cela, d'assister au satsang, de venir à la venue, de voir son précepteur une fois par semaine, de prier Dieu, et bla bla bla..." et elle en est écoeurée . Elle a cessé de voir son précepteur et elle est devenue contrarié par les «pressions» qu'on lui inflige... elle a estimé que : "on perd un temps précieux pour ces activités inutiles tout en délaissant ses autres fonctions sociales et activités civiques", c'est l'approche des gens de la srcm... alors, finalement, elle a arrêté.

Un autre aspect important de la méditation srcm est que l'on n'a pas besoin de nettoyer les "chakras", c'est-à-dire le chakra racine, le chakra gorge, etc. afin de réaliser l’illumination, parce que leur "progrès" passe par différents points tel que décrit dans leurs livres. Maintenant, n'importe qui ayant fait une méditaion ou des exercices de respiration ne sera pas convaincu par cet aspect. Même moi je n'étais pas convaincu par ce bullshit. Parce que je faisais des exercices de respiration avant de rejoindre la srcm et JE SUIS SACREMENT CERTAIN QUE SANS LE NETTOYAGE DE TOUS LES CHAKRAS ET EN LES METTANT TOUS EN ACCORD ON NE PEUT PAS ALLER DE L'AVANT VERS L’ILLUMINATION. C'est la seule voie pour accroître son énergie. Et personne ne fait exception à cette loi fondamentale. Peu importe qu'il s'agisse de Chariji ou Swami Vivekananda ou Ramkrishna Paramhansa ou Osho ou un Maître Zen ou Bouddha ou Gurdjieff ou vous ou moi ou même le sage Patanjali lui-même... IL FAUT NETTOYER TOUS LES CHAKRAS / POINTS D'ENERGIE AFIN DE PROGRESSER. Et ce mec, Chariji fait un raccourci sur ce sentier spirituel... Comme c’est bizarre...

Mais toutes ces observations ne proviennent pas d’une personne qui est totalement neuve dans le domaine de la spiritualité. Or c'est le cas des nouveaux venus à la SRCM. Ils ne peuvent pas appliquer un raisonnement logique ni comparer avec leurs anciennes expériences spirituelles car ils n'en ont pas. Ils sont donc facilement impressionnés et pensent qu'ils ont trouvé le meilleur système et le meilleur Maitre. J'étais adepte de spiritualité (exercices de respiration) et pourtant j'ai cru ce qu'ils ont dit et suis tombé dans ce piège, alors pensez à ceux qui sont novices en spiritualité. Même aujourd'hui, je ressent quelques blocages émotionnels et je ne peux parfois réagir de manière adéquate lorsqu'il s'agit de pratiques de dévotion ou de questions religieuses. Et je sais quelle en est la raison. Les précepteurs transmettent de l'énergie (reiki plus précisément) pendant les 3 premiers sittings consécutifs. Au cours de ces séances, ils tentent de programmer le cerveau des nouveaux venus (inconscient) de façon qu'ils commencent à se détourner de leurs intérêts pour aller vers la srcm et contre la religion ou d'autres méthodes qu'ils poursuivent. Maintenant, cela va vous sembler absurde, les gars, mais c'est un phénomène psychologique profond que très peu de gens connaissent auquel ils ont accès. Il est facile de programmer son propre cerveau, mais il est très difficile de programmer le cerveau d'une autre personne. Alors, pour envoyer des suggestions au nouvel abhyasi, ils commencent peu à peu à lui envoyer de l'énergie, et dans la personne qui accepte cette énergie commence alors à naître un sentiment apaisant, un état d'esprit avec de très faibles fréquences de pensées. Maintenant, c'est l'état d'esprit dans lequel les pensées (remplies avec de l'énergie) sont envoyées par les précepteurs et entrent dans le domaine de l'inconscient de ce/cette Abhayasi. Sans le savoir, l’abhyasi se tourne vers la SRCM et contre la religion .....

Ce type de séances sont fréquentes pour un nouvel abhyasi, et les impressions sur la SRCM deviennent profondes. En plus, avant de commencer les séances de méditation, vous êtes chargé de penser que ce n'est pas le précepteur, mais Chariji qui fait la transmission de cette énergie. Et à l'instant où un abhyasi commence à penser de cette manière, commence la programmation de son cerveau que "c'est le Maître qui fait la transmission", et il devient inconsciemment tributaire de Master / Chariji. Et encore et toujours, cette pensée devient puissante, comme il est dit de le faire avant même que les séances de méditation ou même le nettoyage ne commencent... Beaucoup d'entre vous les gars ne sont peut-être pas au courant que la pensée sur laquelle nous nous concentrons le plus profondément ou à laquelle on pense souvent devient réalité après quelques temps, et ces personnes utilisent cette technique pour faire une forte impression sur l'esprit...

Pensez-y... comment puis-je "croire" une personne que j'ai vu seulement sur une photo ou dont j'ai entendu un discours ? Si quelqu'un de la SRCM vous dit que Chariji est le "Siddh Purush" et attend que nous les croyons sans même verifier. Ils nous disent de mettre notre foi en Chariji uniquement sur la base de leurs propres convictions envers Chariji... comment est-ce possible... nous, les gens, nous ne faisons même pas confiance à nos amis sans passer beaucoup de temps auprès d’eux. Une fois que nous nous rendons compte qu’un ami est digne de confiance alors et seulement alors nous avons confiance en lui. Donc, nous les gens, nous réfléchissons avant de faire confiance à un ami et ici, à la SRCM, on nous dit de croire quelqu'un comme votre Guru !!!!!!!!! Comment est-ce possible... Si nous le faisons, nous sommes des abhyasis "obéissants", et si nous ne le faisons pas, alors nous ne sommes pas de bons abhyasis...

J'ai vu les conséquences de la dépendance émotionelle à Chariji. Au cours d'une célébration d'anniversaire de Babuji j'ai vu un abhyasi (environ 70 ans) raconter ses méfaits à Chariji. Il y avait d’autre abhyasis en provenance d'autres endroits rassemblés autour de lui et ils l’écoutaient. J’ai également rejoint ce groupe et j'ai écouté cette personne assez âgée. Selon son exposé, il a été très rude, fier et indiscipliné envers Chariji depuis qu'il a rejoint sa voie. Il a vécu de nombreuses années avec Chariji et a été proche de la main droite de Chariji. Mais au cours de sa relation avec Chariji, il a fait quelque chose de mal (peut-être est-il allé à l'encontre de Chariji à un certain point) et Chariji l’a enlevé de son cercle et a dit aux gens de ne pas avoir de sentiments envers lui. Maintenant, alors que j'écoutais son histoire, l'un des abhyasi m'a dit que "Chariji a dit à tous les abhyasis ne pas s'associer à ce type".

À ce moment, une pensée a frappé mon esprit que ce n'était pas la faute de la personne âgée si Chariji l’avait enlevé de son entourage, mais que Chariji devait avoir fait une action contre laquelle cet ancien abhyasi avait du aller à l'encontre. Et pour le tenir sous contrôle, Chariji a du l’enlever de son cercle et dire aux autres abhyasis de ne pas avoir de sentiments pour lui. Comme il était sous la dépendance émotionelle de Chariji, il ne pouvait pas vivre normalement puisqu'il se sentait isolé et abandonné. Mais à qui pouvait-il se plaindre contre Chariji ? Qui pouvait-il convaincre d'être en sa faveur ? Et peut-être son épouse n'était-elle pas en sa faveur vu qu'elle était également une zombie. Alors, pour se repentir de ce qu'il a fait à Chariji, il se déclare lui-même criminel et il dit également qu'il est honteux de ses actes, mais le temps est passé maintenant...

Maintenant, après avoir écouté son histoire, je pense que cela pourrait être moi dans l'avenir, ou peut être n'importe quel abhyasi. Et je n'ai vraiment pas envie de me fier sur le plan émotionel à quelqu'un comme Chariji. Chariji ne rencontre pas à n'importe qui au cours de la célébration de son anniversaire et les gens font la queue et l'attendent comme s'il s'agissait d'une super star. J'ai aussi été l'un de ceux qui attendaient son arrivée, mais il ne nous a même pas regardés. Et je n'aimais pas ce genre de comportement. Je me suis senti très ignoré et insulté. Je ne suis pas une personne très importante ni une super star, mais j'ai mon propre respect et je n'aime pas du tout être ignoré comme cela. Qui est ce Chariji d’enfer ? Quel diable est-il pour critiquer les Hindous et les autres religions. Il fait toujours la comparaison entre sa tradition et l'hindouisme et il tente de prouver que l'hindouisme n'est pas efficace pour atteindre l’illumination. Il est plein de critiques et plein de haine envers la religion hindoue. Une chose que j'ai remarquée est qu'il ne parle pas beaucoup contre l'islam. C'est parce qu'il ne veut pas mourir... (je ne suis opposé à aucune religion, mais c'est juste mon observation)... il sait très bien que si il parle trop contre l'Islam, les musulmans rigides ne l'épargneraient pas et mettraient sa vie en danger. Mais il sait que les hindous ne sont pas aussi agressifs, alors il critique l'Hindouisme et les hindous...

Le contexte
En 1964, Chari devient abhyasi de Babuji. En 70, il est secrétaire général et, selon lui, désigné pour lui succéder en 74. Selon un anonyme (JM), Kasturi et Donald Sabourin sont témoins de la désignation de Chari, selon Narayana il n'y a pas de témoins. Entre temps, le Docteur K.C. Varadachari est décédé le 30 janvier 1971 alors que Babuji l'avait préparé à sa succession. Babuji connaît quelques ennuis de santé qui poussent en 73 Kasturi, Raghavendra Rao et Chari à lui proposer de se partager la planète géographique du Sahaj Marg, ce qu'il refuse catégoriquement. En 79, Babuji déclare à Narayana qu'il devra travailler en étroite relation avec Chari après sa mort. A Munich en 80, Babuji dit encore à anonyme JM qu'il laisse le pouvoir à Chari…

1982-84
Babuji effectue de graves reproches à Chari par courrier et dix jours plus tard il désigne secrètement son propre fils pour lui succéder. Deux mois plus tard, il nomme SA Sarnad secrétaire de la Mission à la place de Chari puis il part en France. Malade, il écrit à Jahagirdar pour lui dire que Chari dérive de l'enseignement initial, qu'il se présente illégitimement comme son successeur et qu'il a tenté de l'empoisonner à plusieurs reprises depuis 8 ans, mais qu'il a trouvé son successeur dont il conserve l'identité secrète.
Babuji décède le 19 avril 83. Un premier meeting se tient à Shahjahanpur 3 mois plus tard. Il réunit la plupart des personnalités du Sahaj Marg entre autres Chari, K.C. Narayana, Raghavendra Rao et l'un des fils de Babuji, Prakash. Chari et le fils de Prakash, Sharad, revendiquent tous deux la succession. Aucune décision n'est prise et un autre meeting est programmé 7 mois plus tard.
Le Working committee se réunit donc de nouveau en février 84. Les documents apportés par Chari etSharad sont considérés comme des faux. Et cette fois c'est Umesh, le second fils de Babuji, qui fait acte de candidature. Il est désigné comme successeur de Babuji en assemblée générale. Sarnad, le secrétaire de la Mission, envoie un courrier dans ce sens à tous les centres. Puis, coup de théâtre, Sarnad rejoint le clan de Chari et on n'entend plus parler d'Umesh jusqu'en 1994, c'est désormais Srivastava qui préside le comité de travail.

Mais que s'est-il donc passé ?
Mis bouts à bouts, ces différents événements qui nous sont désormais plus ou moins connus me laissent penser qu'il nous manque encore des éléments laissés sous silence. Quelques remarques et questions en suspens :

Pourquoi Babuji change soudain d'avis sur Chari ?

Pourquoi n'en réfère-t-il ni à Kasturi ni à Narayana qui sont des piliers du Sahaj Marg ?

Pourquoi Srivastava est élu président peu après la désignation d'Umesh ?

Pourquoi Sarnad, secrétaire de la Mission, rejoint aussitôt Chari ?

Et que se passera-t-il ?
Au dernier moment, Lalaji a nommé son fils au détriment de son neveu qui avait les faveurs de Huzur Maharaj. Babuji a lui aussi fini par nommer son propre fils. Que fera donc Chari ? Finira-t-il par changer d'avis au profit de son fils PR Krishna ou de l'un de ses petits-enfants, Barghav ou Madhuri ?

Kasturi : l'interview !

De passage en Inde, Shashwat Pandey a téléphoné à Kasturi Chaturvedi le 20 février 2009. Il a enregistré leur conversation que vous pouvez entendre sur son blog. Je ne pense pas qu'il a informé son interlocutrice qu'il enregistrait leur conversation.
Don l'a retranscrite en anglais le 22 février et Shashwat a soumis cette version aux administrateurs du blog "Kasturi Bhenji", sans que cela suscite de réactions de leur part à ce jour (26 février 2009). En conséquence de quoi, je considère que cette transcription leur convient, ainsi qu'à Kasturi…
S'il doit y avoir des corrections, on les signalera lorsqu'elles seront sollicitées.

Que dit Kasturi ?

Il n'y a pas de lien entre le Sahaj Marg et la SRCM de Babuji d'un côté et les enseignements de Lalaji et de ses successeurs de l'autre. Cela confirme donc le commentaire précédent de son collaborateur, Pandit Ji, qui affirmait sur son blog le 18 février 2009 que Lalaji avait le Sant Mat : "(...) Sri Ram chandra's mission is babuji's mission and started by babuji not by lalaji, lalaji had sant mat which is still there in fatehgarh (...)." - Commentaire posté le 18 février 2009. Eux aussi semblent oublier l'origine soufie de NaqshMumRa, le courant des Ramashram Satsangs ainsi que les tenants du frère de Lalaji…

Comme le souligne Elodie, elle affirme aujourd'hui que "Chariji n'est pas le Maître de la Mission, mais son manager. Il n'y a qu'un seul Maître et c'est Babuji". Sauf qu'elle disait autre chose en 1995 : "(…) Simplement parce que Sri Babu Ji Maharaj l’a préparé pour être Son représentant spirituel et le président de la Mission Sri Ram Chandra de Shahjahanpur. En vérité, Sri Babu Ji Maharaj m'a non seulement dicté la déclaration de nomination de Sri Chari Ji en tant que Président, mais il m'a aussi divulgué la beauté divine dont Il l'a paré (…)" - Discours de 1995, en version française (traduction par Denise Mincet). Voilà une contradiction de plus dans une histoire qui n'en manque pas…

Elle dit aussi que tout le monde peut prétendre avoir une lettre de nomination par Babuji, mais que personne n'a été nommé. Chari n'a été sollicité que pour diriger la Mission. Elle n'a jamais vu de lettre de nomination et n'a jamais assisté à une quelconque désignation de Chari par Babuji comme représentant spirituel. Babuji a demandé à Kasturi d'aider les gens aussi longtemps qu'elle le pourrait et c'est ce qu'elle fait.

Elle sait qu'une affaire pénale oppose Chari et Navneet, ce qu'elle juge honteux pour un mouvement spirituel. Elle ajoute que presque tous les ashrams créés du temps de Babuji ont été occupés de force par les partisans de Chari, comme celui de Shahjahanpur.

D'une manière générale, elle est opposée à l'évolution actuelle de la Mission, dont elle attribue la raison au fait qu'il y a beaucoup trop d'argent en jeu. Et c'est ce qui explique qu'elle l'a quittée ! Babuji voulait que les ashrams soient tout petits pour prendre le moins de terres et d'argent possibles, car c'était aux abhyasis. Il s'opposait aux donations et voulait les interdire.

Elle dit encore qu'elle s'oppose à la sortie des "Whispers" qu'elle considère comme néfastes, car ils colportent des messages "incorrects", que Babuji n'a jamais organisé de mariages entre abhyasis et que ce que fait Chari n'a rien à voir avec la spiritualité. Enfin, à sa connaissance, la seule célébration organisée cette année sera l'anniversaire de Chari.

Une petite analyse rapide et à chaud

Sous des dehors très policés, Kasturi dénonce à peu près tout ce que fait Chari aujourd'hui : célébrations de mariages, grands ashrams, appels aux donations, publications des "Whispers", etc.
Très policés, car elle refuse de dire du mal des partisans de Chari et de Chari lui-même ou s'en tire en riant plutôt que de répondre. Elle se réfère donc en permanence à ce que disait Babuji pour montrer à quel point la SRCM de Chari ne suit pas son exemple. Mais c'est à nous d'en tirer les conséquences car elle se garde bien de le faire…
A priori, cela semble justifier qu'elle ne s'occupe que de spiritualité et qu'elle ne porte pas de jugements sur les autres. Un style de discours qui devrait plaire aux déçus du "charisme" de Chari, comme semble y succomber Elodie !
Et pourtant sa version des faits évolue avec le temps, il est vrai que 14 ans se sont écoulés depuis son discours de 1995, 26 depuis la mort de Babuji et même 35 depuis la supposée lettre de nomination de Chari…
Mais c'est surtout l'évolution de Chari qui la pousse à modifier sa version de l'histoire !
Elle ne s'occupe que de spiritualité, comme ses collaborateurs qui ont créé un blog à son nom, et qui tous refusent de répondre aux questions polémiques. Mais ils ne crachent pas sur les "déçus du charisme" qui viennent aujourd'hui vers eux, bien au contraire. Le blog n'a d'ailleurs été créé que pour cela, attirer les déçus, et tant mieux s'ils sont nombreux.D'où la critique de Kasturi qui se fait de plus en plus acerbe quoique polie. D'où leur plaisir qu'on ait fait de la publicité à leur blog.
Attention, leur discours surfe sur une vague dont les pentes sont savonneuses. Qu'ils n'oublient pas que c'est en grande partie le nombre qui a fait dériver la SRCM de Chari. Cela pourrait aussi leur arriver s'ils ont trop de succès…

Me : - I wanted to talk to you about Sahaj Marg, is this the right time to talk?
Kasturiji : - no
Me : - So.. we cannot talk today?
Kasturiji : - today in my home there is satsang, some people have come so I will go there, but why don’t you talk to someone there, there are many people in that place.
Me : - where?
Kasturiji : - there in Delhi..
Me : -Actually I have reached Delhi just few days back and I will return back soon, I don’t live in India, I live in the US.
Kasturiji : - ok, but there are many people in Delhi, there are people in Dilshaad garden, there are many people there.
Me : - I know Navneet here..
Kasturiji : - Yes Yes, but how long can you talk on phone?
Me : - I just wanted to know 2-3 things, it will hardly take few minutes.
Kasturiji : - ok, go ahead
Me : - my first question is about linage of Sahaj Marg, Lalaji, Babuji and Chariji, but a few days back I read on internet that Lalaji was not directly related to Sahaj Marg, what is your opinion about that?
Kasturiji : - It is like this, Lalaji was not related to Sahaj marg, only Babuji Maharaj is there.
Me : - ok
Kasturiji : - like there is lord Krishna and lord Rama, there are many sages and saints who worshiped him to come down to earth, but lord is one only, similarly, Lalaji got Babuji on earth, when there is birth, there is order for that, Lalaji by his prayers, tried to get Babuji on earth, Lalaji was not the lord. Babuji is the lord, Lalaji just prayed for him to come down on earth, lord is only Babuji, it is like this.. and this is what is called Shri Ram Chandra Mission.
Me : - very good, my second question is about current master of Sahaj Marg, Chariji.. what is your opinion about him.
Kasturiji : - no no, he is not the master of Sahaj Marg, it is like this, whenever any organization is started, like Shri Ram Chandra Mission is an organization which is registered, people are left behind as a caretaker, for example, a manager, who’s work is to oversee day to day activities, like when abhyasis come, then manager should arrange for his worshiping etc, his task is only to manage, that's all, and this is what happens in all spiritual organizations, like Buddha left someone, Vivekananda left someone, it happens everywhere, similarly Chariji was assigned the task to manage the organization, not spirituality, its everywhere, like there is a manager to manage an organization, he is that only, a manager.
Me : - so do you mean to say, like Babuji was master of Sahaj Marg, Chariji is not a master of Sahaj Marg, is this what you are trying to say?
Kasturiji : - No, chariji cannot be the master, understand it like this, like Ramkrishna mission, have you ever heard that there is any other master other then Ramkrishna? Did Vivekanada become master of RK Mission? Or anyone else?
Me : - No, it never happened like that..
Kasturiji : - master is only one, and that is Babuji, to run the mission, anyone can do that. Chariji is like that only.
Me : - actually since it is presented that Lalaji, Babuji and Chariji are masters of Sahaj Marg, therefore there is some element of confusion here.
Kasturiji : - lord is only one, team anyone can make, Meera always said one, Surdaas said one, Kabir said one, everyone said, there is one lord, so there cannot be many masters of Sahaj Marg, Babuji did not make only one Chariji, he made many people like Chariji.
Me : - ok, I got it.
Kasturiji : - lord is only one, but for management, there are 10 people.
Me : - ok, very fine.
Kasturiji : - good.
Me : - I had one more question, Chariji on Jan 29, 2001 said that a women cannot effectively execute duty of a master of Sahaj Marg, what is your opinion about this.
Kasturiji : - it is like this, Chariji joined the mission in 1964, and I joined the mission in 1948, in front of him, Babuji made me a preceptor, and I made his wife also a preceptor.
Me : - you mean Sulochana?
Kasturiji : - Yes, I have given transmission to him many time, Babuji asked to do that.. so this statement is false on it own, and he is also doing the same, this statement is wrong on its own.
Me : - I am delighted to know your thoughts, I have one more question, recently there is a book published by Sahaj Marg, called "Whispers From the Brighter World", which is said to contain messages from Lalaji and Babuji, and these messages are sold at a price of 250 euro’s which is approximately 12,000, Indian rupees, kindly throw some light on this as to what is this brighter world and what are these messages from the "brighter world".
Kasturiji : - I have written the truth about these things in my book, because I know, that these things are going to be very harmful for the mission in future, this will not convey the correct message, you tell me one thing, did Chariji hear the name of “brighter world” during Babuji’s time, or before him or after him?
Me : - (pause) you are correct.
Kasturiji : -(where) ever did he heard this name?
Me : - you are correct, this all started since 2005 onwards
Kasturiji : - even Chariji, he also use to do worship before, many big names use to visit him, did he ever hear this name “brighter world” (laughs..) and then there are messages from this place!! I will tell you the truth, and I have cleared this in my book, whenever someone is asked to come down to earth for some work, suppose Babuji was asked to come to earth for spirituality, there are some personalities who know before hand, that this divine personality will come down to work, such personalities leave their pleasure and allow themselves to protect that divine personality like a bodyguard, like lord Shankar, Narad Muni, and many others, whenever such personalities come down, they all are ready to serve such a personality, these are people who stay back after leaving earth, and they get the job done, they will inform, like you need to do this, you did a good job, but you need to do this also, and there is nothing of this kind in Chariji’s diary, I have read that diary.. it only contains information like, he is praising him, she is praising that fellow.. like this.. if there is expression of any kind of relation, than it is totally false, because relation are that place when spirituality ends, there are no relation for such people, all relations are part of earth, and they and they are left behind in this world only, when you leave this world then only divine bliss exists, and there are no relations there.. and in Chariji’s diary, all it contains is relations… I have not written his name because he is head of our mission currently, I have not taken any name, but I have answered everything, so that people can come to know the truth.
Me : - you have done a wonderful thing, I wanted to know one more thing, your personal view about religion (9:35)
Kasturiji explains religion till 10:10.
Me : - there is a saying in Sahaj Marg, “religion divides spirituality unites”
Kasturiji : - this is totally wrong..Babuji said, when religion ends, spirituality begins, and when spirituality ends, reality begins, I have written everything in my book.
Me : - you have informed us of a wonderful thing, because such kind of statements make people go away from Sahaj Marg, because it gives a very wrong message about Sahaj Marg, that it is against religion, for example I am a Hindu, and in Sahaj Marg, they say Hindu religion is corrupt. Kasturiji : - I am saying this, how can anyone follow any religion, if you are a Hindu, that means you are a Hindu, you don’t need to follow Hindu religion, you are already a Hindu. Where does the question of following religion come, either you are a Hindu or you are not… there is no question of following any religion, same is true for Muslims, they are Muslims and they do what others do..
Me : - very nice, do you know Navneetji personally?
Kasturiji : - no I don’t know him personally
Me : - you don’t know him personally?
Kasturiji : - no personally I don’t know him.
Me : - I have read in newspaper that their Ashram in Shahjahanpur was captured after beating Navneet's mother and her old brother… are you aware of that?
Kasturiji : - yes, there is a criminal case pending in that regard.
Me : - yes, chargesheet has also been filed in this regard, against Chariji, Uma Sahnker Bajpai. And others..
Kasturiji : - it is like this, you were asked to manage the mission, and a person who is suppose to manage a spiritual system, he must have a balanced state, such a person is never angry, such a person should not cause pain to anyone, when these things reduce… its sad.. is it not a matter of shame for the mission that such a case is registered against him? Is it not a matter of shame that such a case is there in a spiritual mission?
Me : - yes you are right, it’s a matter of shame..
Kasturiji : - our mission is based on brotherhood, there is no-one who is big, or small, if someone is giving transmission, only during that time, he is big, else he is just an abhyasi and nothing more..
Me : - so what is your stand on this, Umeshji expired soon after, I think, they attacked the mission immediately after his death..
Kasturiji : - they simply occupied it..as if they declared a war and forcefully captured many ashrams like in Vijawada, and some more.. almost all ashrams created during Babuji’s time forcefully.. this was the reason why I said I will not continue with you !! I will stay at feet of Babuji and I will not support you.
Me : - you did the right thing, because what is apparent is quite painful, I know people in France and there life have been devastated by these things..
Kasturiji : - this is what is bound to happen, many life’s have been devastated, I also know, there is something more you should know, no-one becomes spiritual suddenly, it takes time, Meera was a devotee since her childhood and reached that state after a period of time, but here what happens is there is lot of money, and when there is no accounting for donations what else will happen? What (does) money bring? Unrest, loose character, bad behaviour, these are the things which money brings and this is what causes problems..
Me : - yes you are very correct, last time when I visited India, I visited Navneet and his mother, unfortunately I could not meet you personally, therefore I thought that maybe I willl talk to you over phone and get your blessings.
Kasturiji : - whenever you come here, do visit my place.
Me : - no I will return back on 4th.
Kasturiji : - no problems I will be visiting some places in south India on 23 and I will return back on 6th, Babuji Maharaj had asked me to help people as long as I can.. so this is what I will do.. Babuji was very much against concept of donation, he had said that he will erase the name of donation from his mission, but this is exactly what he is doing..
Me : - its sad..
Kasturiji : - these were the reasons as why I said that I will not come with you (to Chari)!! Because this behaviour is totally against the teachings of Babuji, but it's ok..
Me : - do you know Uma Shankar Bajpai who is on board of Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation, he lives in Allahabad..
Kasturiji : - I know them very well, that why I never meet them.
Me : - what is your opinion about these people..
Kasturiji : - that’s why I don’t meet them
Me : - ok
Kasturiji : - instead of saying anything, when you find that spirituality is far far away, its better not to visit that place, and then say anything about it.
Me : - ok.. does it means that they are not very good people?
Kasturiji : - this is the reason as why I don’t visit them.
Me : - by any chance do you know S.K Shukla ?
Kasturiji : - they may have joined later, I don’t know them.
Me : - ok.. I know family of Uma Shanker Bajpai, but unfortunately now my relation is very bad with them..
Kasturiji : - if you happen to visit here, do meet me.. you will get all the answers
Me : - sure I will try my best.. I just wanted to know two more things.. your opinion about these two things.. after which I will say thanks to you..
Me : - first is... Navneetji has filed a case regarding ownership of Sahaj Marg and SRCM, in which he has produced a letter of nomination in supreme court of India, case is still pending, what is your opinion in this regards
Kasturiji : - how many people have this letter of nomination? There are many people with this kind of letter of nomination.
Me : - I could not understand
Kasturiji : - its better not to get involved in these things..
Me : - it is for my information only… nothing else..
Kasturiji : - I am telling this for your information only!! Nobody has anything..
Me : - ok.. so according to you, chariji was asked to manage the group!!
Kasturiji : - yes, for management only.
Me : - like a secretary or something like that..
Kasturiji : - exactly, only for management, (not related to spirituality)
Me : - so what is the contribution of Umesh Chandra in this?
Kasturiji : - there is no contribution from anyone, he was Babuji’s son, all that he could do as a son that was all his contribution.
Me : - interesting..
Kasturiji : - he wanted to become that… that all, these things are useless.. (laughs..) and I am not interested in this either, I never try to know these things..
Me : - Actually I have seen the documents submitted in supreme court of India, I have seen both the nomination letters, one of 1983, which is in favour of Umesh Chandra and that of Chariji which was that of 1974.. and I got the signature verified by an expert on both the documents…
Kasturiji : - I have not seen anything, I have never seen any nomination letter for anyone!! Babuji taught me meditation and service to abhyaisis and that's all I know, I don’t know anything else..
Me : - Actually I came across someone who said that Babuji appointed Chariji as his spiritual representative in your presence, like you are a witness for Chariji’s appointment.
Kasturiji : - this is totally wrong!!
Me : - so this is not true!!
Kasturiji : - laughs.. these people can say anything..
Me : - yes, even I was also surprised by this, because when I read about you on internet, my first impression was that, that you are a very honest woman, and I had this desire in me, that if I am able to meet you or if I am able to talk to you, I will consider myself as very lucky, but when I came to know this.. I was a bit surprised, I happen to know someone in Canada, and I was informed that appointment of Chariji took place in your presence.. I was taken aback with this information because I could not digest the fact that if Babuji was a divine personality, then he cannot make a person like Chariji his spiritual representative.
Kasturiji : - when you can understand this, Babuji was Babuji.. got it?
Me : - yes I got it.. I am really pleased to know this.. now my last question; my last question to you is, what is your comment for Sahaj Marg, given the current situation of Sahaj Marg, like Chariji arranges marriages inside his group, there are divorces in Sahaj Marg, very young children are separated from their parents, in Lalaji memorial school in Chennai..
Kasturiji : - you answer this question yourself.. is this what is known as spirituality?
Me : - No, but what is your opinion about these things..
Kasturiji : - my view is simple.. these were the very reasons as why I left that group..
Me : - ok..
Kasturiji : - Babuji Maharaj has told us that the Mission is one family, which has only one point of view, everyone should stay in support for each other.. and one more thing Babuji Maharaj said, that he has infused a life of brotherhood in his Mission, and if this life has a feeling of brotherhood, that means you have joined the Mission properly, but if any other feeling is there in you.. then you have not joined the Mission properly.
Me : - did Babuji during his life time, ever arranged anyone's marriage?
Kasturiji : - Never.. he was very much against these kinds of things.. he was very clear, there will not be any hospitals in ashram, no post office will be there in any ashram, all the ashrams will be very small, so that not much land is used in building these ashrams and farmers land should not be used for building ashrams.. minimum money should be spend, because this money if from abhyasis.. it is abhyasi who pays for these things therefore spend minimum money possible.
Me : - So, it means Babuji never arranged any marriage during his lifetime.
Kasturiji : - Never, Never..
Me : - fair enough.. actually there is a statement from Chariji wherein he says that there is an order from Lalaji that abhyasis of Sahaj Marg must marry each other..
Kasturiji : - (laughs..) was he present at that time?
Me : - (laugh..) I could not understand this.. even today!! How come Lalaji gave this order?
Kasturiji : - you tell me.. he says this is an order.. was he present at that time???
Me : - how can he be present at that time, he was probably not even born at that time..(laughs)
Kasturiji : - (laughs).. don’t get involved in these things son, take only that which is good!! Sahaj Marg system teaches us to become like saints.. rise above humans and become like saints.. consider everyone your own, and love everyone, and move towards peace and happiness.. good enough?
Me : - yes
Kasturiji : - remember this only !! and whenever you get an opportunity do visit me..
Me : - definitely, I will try my best to meet you !! the last thing which I wanted to inform you, just in case you are not aware.. in a report published by a committee of French government, and also in Belgium, it is stated that practice of Sahaj Marg is psychologically harmful and members of Sahaj Marg are brainwashed, controlled and manipulated.. what is your opinion about this..
Kasturiji : - I have also heard that mission has been removed from every country only in Denmark it is there and from all other countries it has been removed. What you feel bad about Sahaj Marg, governments and other agencies have also objected to same things..
Me : - hmm.. I have heard that Chariji has cancelled all functions of Shri Ram Chandra Mission this year.. are you aware of this..
Kasturji : - now he has said that only one function will be celebrated this year, which is his birthday celebration of 24th july.. that's all..
Me : - ok, I am greatful to you for your information..
Kasturiji : - I will stop here now, I have to go..

Les déçus du Charijisme

En 2000-2005, aucun abhyasi occidental ne connaît Kasturi, Navneet Kumar Saxena (petit-fils de Babuji) ou Dinesh Kumar Saxena (petit-fils de Lalaji), hormis une poignée de gens bien informés. Dans le meilleur des cas, leur nom n'est pas inconnu, mais cela s'arrête là. Pour les abhyasis occidentaux, la SRCM et le Sahaj Marg, c'est Chari et sa Mission.
Depuis, les choses ont bien changé. Kasturi, Navneet et Dinesh ont chacun leur propre site sur le web, et nous avons contribué à les faire connaître au plus grand nombre.

Mais pourquoi sont-ils sortis de l'ombre ?

La galaxie du Sahaj Marg, c'est apparemment quelques 500 000 sympathisants, mais seulement 10% de pratiquants réguliers fidèles à un Chari vieillissant qui accuse 82 ans en 2009, pour une Mission aux dérives commerciales maintenant bien avérées.
Les déçus du charijisme sont légions. Chari lui-même avouant sa crainte de voir sa Mission imploser en une multitude de groupuscules autonomes. Et chacun s'efforce de récupérer sa part du gâteau. Qui des terres, qui de l'argent, qui des adeptes…

Pour cela rien ne vaut une bonne exposition médiatique et ils l'ont bien compris :

Les descendants de Babuji s'opposent à la SRCM de Chari par voie de justice depuis très longtemps. Mais Navneet Kumar Saxena a choisi depuis janvier 2007 de s'exprimer d'abord sur Tell me truth India puis sur son propre website. Pourquoi a-t-il donc décidé de porter son combat sur le plan médiatique ? Que cherche-t-il ? Et qu'a-t-il à y gagner ? La justice aurait du lui suffire…

Kasturi a durci le ton vis-à-vis de Chari, une première fois en 1995, et plus encore aujourd'hui. Ses collaborateurs Akshat Gupta et Pandit Ji Somesh ont créé un blog en novembre 2006. Ses fidèles en Amérique et en Europe sortent de l'ombre depuis fin 2008 (Denise et Jean-François Mincet au Canada, Cyrille Roux en France, etc.). Pourquoi maintenant après 25 ans de silence ? ... cette intervention - et d'autres - les amènent à rentrer dans leur coquille au printemps 2009 (blog réservé aux seuls membres) !!!

Il y a aussi les tentatives du petit-fils de Lalaji depuis fin 2006. Moins exposé médiatiquement, Dinesh Kumar Saxena se démarque moins nettement de Chari dont il est précepteur. Ce qui ne l'a pas empêché de réaffirmer l'origine soufie de son lignage, et tout récemment (fin 2008) d'apporter la preuve que Babuji s'était écarté du soufisme en son temps. Un website demande des contributions pour la remise en état des hauts-lieux de pélerinage liés à Lalaji...

N'oublions pas KC Narayana, le fils du docteur Varadachari, qui multiplie ses websites : un mouvement l'ISRC, un centre de recherches Imperience et une fondation Sahaj Seva Samsthan, avec ses réalisations sociales. Une présence limitée en nombre, mais internationale et de qualité. Voir aussi Narayana fait sa pub

Ajoutons qu'on peut douter de l'entente cordiale au sommet de la hiérarchie de la Mission de Chari elle-même. Est-ce que tout va bien entre Ajay Kumar Bhatter le successeur désigné, PR Krishna le richissime héritier, Santosh Khanjee l'éminence grise ou bien encore AP Durai et US Bajpai, les hommes de mains de Chari.

Tant que Chari est là, personne ne dit rien et tout le monde suit. Mais demain ?
D'ailleurs, la rumeur ne dit-elle pas que le torchon brûle déjà entre Chari et son fiston Krishna…

L'explosion est attendue ! Les vautours et autres chacals sont là, qui suivent le troupeau et récupèrent les trainards. Lorsque le berger sera parti, ce sera l'hallali.

Témoignages de la famille Mincet

J'ai bien connu Babuji en Inde et en France. J'ai été fait précepteur en 1976 par Babuji (j'avais 22 ans). Je connais aussi Chari pour l'avoir rencontré en France et aussi en Inde alors que je suivais Babuji dans ses déplacements. A chaque visite de Babuji, Il m'a montré sa divinité à plusieurs reprises. Ceci n'est pas de l'imagination mais des expériences spirituelles profondes. J'ai vu sa splendeur divine cachée derrière sa déconcertante simplicité. J'y ai vu la beauté et la pureté auxquelles une âme sincère en recherche devrait aspirer. Son système est parfait et peut aider chacun dans sa recherche vers l'Absolu, l'Ultime.Toutes les dérives auxquelles j'ai assisté après sa disparition physique n'ont rien à voir avec ce que notre Babuji nous a enseigné. Il ne devait pas y avoir d'argent et de cotisations dans son système. L'Ultime ne monneille pas sa grâce et Babuji non plus. Kasturi représente bien la pureté de Babuji et de son système. Babuji nous avait envoyé Kasturi en France en 1977 pour travailler sur les abhaysis. Il lui avait donné le titre de Sainte de son vivant. Dans sa correspondance avec elle, Babuji lui a écrit qu'il lui avait fait passé les anneaux de splendeur en 1975 et qu'il l'avait immergé dans l'Ultime (Bhuma), la condition divine extrême (Anant Yatra - vol.5 - Anant Yatra signifie Voyage dans l'Infini; il s'agit du recueil de la correspondance de Babuji et Kasturi entre 1948 et 1975, soit environ 900 lettres; Babuji avait instruit Kasturi de garder ces lettres précieusement afin de les publier le temps venu pour le bénéfice de l'humanité. Les 2 premiers volumes ont été traduits par Denise, elle continue à traduire; ses traductions sont toutes discutées avec soeur Kasturi avant la publication en français). Babu Ji est une personnalité divine, ce qui est bien différent d'un Maître. Ceux qui l'ont connu, ont vu son extrême humilité et simplicité, et son amour. J'ai retrouvé des qualités semblables chez Kasturi. Elle est à même aujourd'hui de conférer des conditions divines et de faire progresser tous les abhyasis sincères. Nous allons la voir régulièrement à Lucknow.
Je dois ajouter que j'ai quitté tout lien avec la mission de Chari dès juillet 1986. Car cette mission ne correspondait plus à ce que Babuji avait apporté. Jamais Babuji n'a demandé l'obéissance dans la Mission. Au contraire, il parlait d'amour; quand l'amour est là, la confiance est là. L'obéissance aveugle détruit le sens du discernement qui est essentiel en spiritualité; le discernement doit nous accompagner à chaque instant tout au long du chemin. jamais Babuji n'a demandé une foi aveugle; il a toujours dit d'expérimenter et de voir les changements en soi.
Il est compréhensible que beaucoup de personnes se soient méprises sur la nature même du Sahaj Marg et que malheureusement elles finissent par s'en détourner totalement. Le véritable Sahaj Marg est un chemin divin de lumière qui doit amener chacun vers la Paix et au-delà, malgré toutes les difficultés de la vie terrestre. Mais qui donne la paix? Cherchez dans votre coeur et priez Babuji de vous amener à Lui. Mais prenons "Babuji" dans son sens large et illimité c'est à dire son état divin de la Réalité.
Denise et moi avons quitté la France, mais il y a en France des abhyasis et précepteurs formés par Kasturi qui pratiquent le système dans la simplicité, en dehors de toute organisation, mais reliés à Babuji et connectés à Kasturi.
Je vous souhaite de tout mon coeur de recevoir les bénédictions de Babuji et sa grâce.

I just heard today about this blog on Kasturi Behenji and I have perused it with great delight! My husband (Jean-Francois)and I have been in Babuji's Mission for a very long time, first and foremost as abhyasis and also at His service as preceptors. We go regularly to Lucknow to Sister Kasturi and tell everyone around us about Her, Babuji and His MIssion. It is a great relief to see that Behenji has authorized such a blog, thus giving the possibility to connect more seekers to Babuji through Her.

L'affaire : inceste et pédophilie à la SRCM ?

Le 17 septembre 2007, un commentaire anonyme posté sur le blog Tell me truth India révélait l'existence d'un article de presse dénonçant des pratiques sexuelles abusives au sein de la SRCM envers une adepte. Le même commentaire faisait aussi référence à un rapport de la Juridiction criminelle de la Haute cour de justice d'Allahabad à ce sujet.
Le rapport de la Haute cour citait des extraits de l'article en question "Rite or wrong ? ORIGINAL SIN" paru dans le quotidien The Pioneer, en date du 2 décembre 2001 et signé par Sri Jitendra Virma. Cet article révélait qu'une jeune fille aurait grandi dans l'inceste au sein d'une famille pratiquant le culte religieux du Sahaj Marg à la Shri Ram Chandra Mission. Elle aurait été donnée à l'ashram, puis au guru, etc. Des membres de la SRCM ont porté plainte en diffamation, accusant l'article de faire partie d'une conspiration planifiée dans le but de porter préjudice à leur Mission et au Sahaj Marg.
Ce commentaire anonyme réalisé sur le blog Tell me truth India, où s'exprimait régulièrement Navneet Kumar Saxena, attribuait les faits à un groupe de précepteurs de Chari. Elodie a repris cet article le 19 septembre 2007, en s'interrogeant sur la réalité des faits, les personnes et organisations concernées, etc.
Et puis les choses en sont restées là jusqu'au 11 mars 2009. A cette date, un nouveau message anonyme toujours sur Tell me truth India nous informe que la jeune femme se serait rétractée dans une déclaration sous serment auprès de la Commission nationale des Droits de l'Homme pour les Femmes, qui a statué en ce sens le 29 janvier 2003 :

"(…) I would like to clarify one more thing considering the pioneer case here that the said story published in the newspaper Pioneer in the year 2002 is a false story which was published with a malafide intention and motive to defame the Guru/Master Mahatma Shri Ram Chandraji Maharaj alias Babuji Maharaj, Mission and the Sahaj Marg system. The strict proof and evidence to the same is that the aggrieved person has herself given an Affidavit before the National Human Rights Commission for Women stating that all the allegations against the society, Master/Guru, Method were false and baseless. The statement given by her was given under coercion and influence to defame the society, guru/master, method. The said case has been closed by the National Human Rights Commission for Women after investigation and inquiry vide order dated 29.01.2003. Hence, such allegation and document relied upon are baseless, false and are defaming the society, Guru / Master and the Method and needs to be removed from the Website / discussions with immediate effect with a noting clarifying the reality to the public at large, if you are really fighting for Reality and really portraying reality to the public rather than misguiding (…)."

L'affaire dans l'affaire : Information & désinformation

Ce dernier personnage anonyme, qui se présente comme un supporter de Navneet, nous dit avec une maladresse déconcertante que cette affaire a été montée de toutes pièces pour nuire à la SRCM de Shahjahanpur en 2001. Probablement donc par des sbires de Chari…
Mais en 2007 on a tenté de nous faire croire le contraire, le premier message faisant référence à un groupe de précepteurs de Chari ! Des partisans de Navneet auraient donc parié sur notre crédulité ou notre aveuglement, et utilisé une affaire qui concernait la SRCM de Shahjahanpur en l'attribuant à la Mission de Chari.
Diffamez, diffamez, il en restera toujours quelque chose !
La prudence nous a permis à l'époque d'éviter ce piège, en soulignant qu'on ne savait pas qui était concerné ni quel crédit il fallait apporter aux accusations. Bien nous en a pris…
Aujourd'hui, quel crédit peut-on porter à cet anonyme qui ne donne pas son nom. Il se présente comme un supporter de Navneet. Mais si tel est le cas, son message est tellement maladroit qu'il le dessert plus qu'il ne le sert. Alors de quel clan est-il donc ?
D'un côté comme de l'autre, on utilise tous les moyens possibles… Alors qu'on attend le jugement qui les oppose, les manipulations vont bon train. L'utilisation médiatique du web devient une pratique courante.

Tout cela doit nous inciter à la plus grande prudence, indispensable en la matière. Les deux clans étant visiblement prêts à tout…
